  1. Apparently its a deal to the end of the season initially. So may still be available.
  2. If he doesn't go this week then he is here for the rest of the season. My big fear is that after Norwich we have some fairly "easy" fixtures coming up. By which I mean they are at least 50/50 games. Only Cardiff and Bournemouth are fixtures where I would consider us to be underdogs. With these fixtures, and the fact they are pretty much dead rubbers now, I can see him collecting enough points for the owners to believe his inevitable bullshit that they have turned a corner, and to give him the opportunity to build on it next season. The only hope is whether Tony is brave enough to stand up to the fans in the stadium, because i can't see anything but hostility towards him.
  3. Pears will be playing next match. Great opportunity to get his mates son in.
  4. He'll be all over one of those stats in his post match interview.
  5. Commentator mentioned an ex Burnley player playing would be getting booed right now if crowds were in. I'm not sure they'd have time with the amount of grief TM would be getting
  6. Red button me I won't pay but yes you're missing f**k all mate
  7. Can't see him signing a new deal. If he has Premier league interest, which it seems he does, why would he re-sign with us. Best we can hope for is an auction. Brighton and West ham reported to have an interest and a return to Newcastle has been bandied about. If they can all avoid relegation this year(obviously west ham will) it may be our best chance of getting top dollar.
  8. I don't think he will be here. We won't get what we currently want for him, but at the same time can't afford to lose him for free the season after. He will be gone for £12m tops. As for Mowbray, I also believe he will be gone in the summer, unless we have a remarkable end to the season.
  9. Apparently Brum are looking at Pulis till the end of the season.
  10. What did Hughes say today? Missed it!
  11. That's a good idea to be fair. Would also give him time to re-energise. And keep him from the clutches of other clubs who will be looking to appoint a manager. Karanka about to go I've been told.
  12. I thought it was Andy dunn of the mirror!! Whoever it was was a complete and utter moron to suggest it. We gave him plenty of time, too much in my opinion, and he had to go. How Ince must wish the Venkys owned the club during his tenure. He'd probably still be here now!
  13. Bristol City and Norwich up next. Can't see anything out of these 2 fixtures. Wycombe after that is an absolute must win. Mowbray will still be in a job and we'll miss the boat on Wilder. Meanwhile wouldn't be surprised to see brum fire karanka this week and make a move for him.
  14. Get rid now, why wait till the end of season. Let's see what the verdict is on Dack first. I accept it doesn't look good, but I wouldn't put it past Mowbray to be using this situation as a means to deflect from his failings. He's already exaggerated player injuries on more than one occasion this season. ( I do fear the worst for Dack though I'm afraid)
  15. I'll say it now and I don't care if we turn it round second half. Mowbray out. Wilder in.
  16. Fucking commentators even getting in on act. Saying Brentford have enjoyed the rest.
  17. They've had 9 days rest. Perfect excuse for Tony right there
  18. I just momentarily hoped for a 5 nil drubbing tonight. Don't worry, it didn't last, because i know it wouldn't make the blindest bit of difference regards Mowbrays future.
  19. Did we not approach him previously before he went to Sheffield utd, or have I imagined that. He would be a fantastic appointment, sadly I just can't see it.
  20. I suspect he'll have other offers. I wouldnt necessarily say better but for sure other teams will be more proactive in getting a deal done when he becomes available.
