  1. A fresh approach?? So we have had another reset then!!
  2. It does sound like there's something in it. Mind you, wasn't there a foreign midfielder who followed rovers accounts a couple of years ago and we all thought he'd be signing. Never came to pass
  3. Think we can forget about Nyambe and Rothwell signing. I'd sell the latter if the opportunity arose. Not sure we have adequate cover for Nyambe or I'd sell him too. In defence of Rothwell running his contract down, I believe we tried to sign him in a previous window but Oxford didn't accept the bid, so he ran down his last few months. May be wrong on that though.
  4. Mowbray said Nyambe was injured and would be out for a period of time last season. He played the next game. I wouldn't believe anything that comes out of his mouth frankly. That said, I agree I don't think Obefami is keen to come, but also take on board what other posters have said about the size of the decision for him personally and professionally. We could really do with an end to the whole saga.
  5. Yep that's what worried me. Mind you Callum Wright(I believe it's that, Wilson is at Newcastle) hasn't really kicked on. Not as yet anyway.
  6. Not happening but no surprise there. Stand down for the weekend boys and girls, nothing to see here until next week at least.
  7. Maybe you're right I don't know how it works. I've not seen the lad but those who have are speaking highly of him. Would be nice if there were some guarantees for us so the Premier league vultures don't steal our talent.
  8. Hopefully get him tied down long term then before he's another one gone on the cheap
  9. Is he judged on results? I would say on evidence of the last couple of seasons that is utter bollocks, or else he wouldn't be here.
  10. Would be nice if Diaz put a MoM display on here to ram it down the forest throats, but sadly see us losing this by the odd goal. That's said I've so far gone draw, win, loss in the first 3 games(inc Morecambe) so predicted none right.
  11. Dont start with those comparisons, it reminds me of the bald c**t
  12. That sounds better😂. Can't imagine we'll get him then
  13. Any idea if he was in the starting 11 last week so we can narrow it down 😂
  14. To be fair they had played in the Premier league for the first time in their history. A new stadium, and fans back for the first time in months, and they deservedly won. Fair play to them and why not celebrate. That said I don't like their manager, I'm incredibly jealous of their success and club structure and I hope they go down 😂😂
  15. Did he say he was hopeful of 2 in by Friday. That's going well I see. One gone back to Brighton 'injured' and the other is still deciding. Think it's time Billy the bullsh*t man moved on from Obefami, he obviously don't want to come, and go to his 5 or 6 other options he claims we have. Lol, more bollocks from his mouth. As others have said use the Armstrong money and bin the lot of them. I'd love Wilder but I'm aware that's 'unrealistic' for some fans, what with us only having billionaire owners. So maybe Davidson or Ainsworth as they may be more affordable. One thing is for sure they'll be more effective than the current incumbent.
  16. Ooooo shocker. No one saw that coming..... Oh hang on myself and numerous posters predicted this outcome.
  17. It wouldn't be an opening partnership if it was the middle order though would it.
  18. That's before we take coaches and backroom staff into account 🙄
  19. If we need to survive on loans so be it. Then next season hopefully Mowbray will be gone and the new man can build a fresh with his own team. Just not sure if I trust venkys to get the next appointment right. 🙁
  20. Any chance we can all pipe down about obafemi. Seems an awful lot of bickering about a player who hasn't even signed yet. And is unlikely to sign in my opinion.
  21. I don't think they've got a bargain at all. Think we've done well to get that for a player in the last year of his contract, who in my opinion is a flat track bully, and who'll go the same way as Rhodes and gestede before him.
  22. In terms of potential fee I can't see this take it or leave it offer being more than £12m if they only offered £8m last time.
