I find the sacking of Harris a strange one considering they allowed him to sign a couple of his transfer targets only 2 or 3 days before his sacking?

I don't think McCarthy style or tactics suits our current squad at all.

I'm not sure Mowbrays style or tactics suit our squad given recent results and performances to be fair.

Wishful thinking sadly. Hughes is lining himself up for the Newcastle job and I suspect he'd feel coming back here was a bit beneath him, despite his stuttering career.

And far more importantly - Venkys have bought into Mowbray's bullshit as they don't care enough to see through it. Anyone who knows how football works can see his time is up and has been for a while, but our owners farm chickens and don't give a shit.

I so hope you're right, however!

Rafa left China. Maybe he is heading back to Newcastle????

  3. Sick of his bullshit now. Who's fault is it, that after 4 years at the club we have one decent full back(whom I might add he has a tendancy to not play as often as he should). Who's fault is it that the few central defenders we have are crocks or kids. Who's fault is it that we are overrun with midfielders, some of whom I imagine can't get a game in training on occasion. At least not in there preferred position, so will probably have to play defence anyway or double up as a cone being as they are surplus to requirements. Why can't he just fuck off!!

The common consensus is that any sell on fees just go straight back into the running of the club.

Anytime anyone has asked Rich Sharpe who has also asked Mowbray, the answer he has got and given is that it wont impact on the transfer budget.

Even if he does get sold I doubt the amount we would receive would be very much.

Yep at this stage it won't be much. If Bournemouth have any sense they will get rid just to get some money in as in the summer they'll get bugger all. It won't be anywhere near the 15 million mark that has been bandied about the last few months though.

Interesting to see so many players out of contract in the summer. I would personally offer the following new deals:

    - Nyambe, Rothwell, Johnson, Holtby, Rankin-Costello.

    I would release:

    - Bell, Williams, Evans, Downing, Mulgrew, Bennet

In terms of loan signings, Elliot is obviously incredible but no chance of him coming back for another year. Braithwaite is good too but he'll be in and around the Everton squad next year so that's unrealistic. Trybull is not good enough, Douglas has been poor but I'd be tempted to buy him on a cheap deal as back up. I think there's more to come from him.

I'd agree with all the released. Nyambe and Rothwell I would keep. The other 3 have question marks for me. Johnson I fear his legs will be/have gone. The other 2 I like but maybe too injury prone

White rumors about that west ham may bid 30 million for AA, I say we take it.  We’re delusional if we think top 6 is in our grasp this campaign.  After sell in fees, we’d probably net 20 million pounds. That’s good money that can be reinvested and more importantly free up the #9 position for BB, SG, or young Vale. AA has been great but I’d prefer a more traditional CF in our current style.  Also moving BB to the middle would free up the ability to have Dolan play more in the wing.

I'd snap their hands off but would the money be reinvested and would you trust TM to spend it wisely. I wouldn't.

Look, we mentioned that we didn’t want posts digging out other posters and baiting each other. Yet people carried on.

The correct process to follow, if you’ve a problem with a post being removed, is to message a mod, or to go into ask admin and raise it there.

We don’t want threads being de-railed with people feeling like they’ve been wronged.

If people keep having posts removed, then people might want to check themselves, before blaming the mods for doing what we feel is best for the harmony of the forum.

In the past we’ve been accused of either protecting this poster too much, or allowing him to get bullied.
    So, the mods can’t win.

’You can’t please all the people all the time’.

Understood. I will just in future refrain from commenting on said posters, often delusional, occasionally inciteful drivel and let it pass me by. Apologies to you, I will tow the line from now on.

insults just weaken your arguments and show a lack of contempt for other people's opinions who disagree with you. I haven't shown any of this for your opinion.

Not sure how I insulted you there personally but there you go. Of course you're entitled to your opinion. You obviously must be happy with the standard of football on offer, I just don't understand why. And as for your last line, that makes you look worse than me. Any way sugarplum I'll leave it there 😘

I think you need to calm down pal.

    Dwight Gayle? why mention him?

Not for me. My view is the same as last week. Give him the season and review in the summer like I keep saying

Like you've said for the last 2 years pal. And we've stagnated. We are never doing anything with this clown in charge. How you can continue to defend him is beyond comprehension

Why are we tapping it around our box? Holtby ran back, got the ball ,did a little shimmy , then turned and passed it back to Kaminski. This is rubbish.

    Mowbray out out out!!!!

Bloody hell BDS. Took your time coming over to the out camp, but you certainly seem definite about your move over. 😂😂

Made the mistake of reading an article on the LT website this morning. Tony f7cking rabbiting on claiming to not know about a bid for the Crewe player as we have two left backs already. God is hateful at times.

I'm fortunate. I can't access the telegraph stories unless I pay for it. Frankly it's not worth forking out for, no matter how little it costs
