I never rated Hanley the first time but christ I will welcome him with open arms right now. Better than anything we have right now. However I don't believe we will sign anyone today and I'm going to switch off until this evening and go out for the day with the wife and kids. Even that's less stressful than a rovers transfer window. 

I know this has been covered already but it simply defies belief that the bumbling baffoon is repeating his tricks of January. Gets rid of downing leaving 3 injury prone centre backs. Low and behold injury strikes after the window closes so we bring in Magloire. Now we can't even bring him in when the inevitable happens. Is this gonad doing this deliberately. Time he fucked off?

FFS hopefully this is just idle gossip. I like TM I really do but the defence has been a long standing problem. I finally thought the penny dropped but his comment this week suggests otherwise. Maybe it's a smokescreen and he actually has deals in place in which case fair play to him. But if not then the sack may be on the horizon and sadly he will deserve it and I'll have no sympathy. 

Let's check those odds on relegation... Cos unless he sorts defenders in the next 5 days that's where its headed. 

They must have been working hard in preseason to address the defensive frailties of the last 2/3 seasons with this backline then. Another season of having to score 4 to win a game beckons

So much can happen and usually does as the deadline approaches. Yes in an ideal world we would all like our business done early to bed players in. But let's see how things pan out over the last few days. Personally I think we are nearly there. I'd happily stick with leutweiler as no2 if we spend our last remaining budget on a couple of quality defenders though. And besides if it was all plain sailing how dull would transfer deadline day be ?
