Not sure where I should put this but just read on SSN that Louis Annesley expected to start for Gibraltar against Republic of Ireland today.

Thought Berg would have got a nod given he was a Prem winner and league Cup winner in his 2 spells. 

Is there a window for signing players for the U23s? I'm not sure there is so he could sign but not be permitted to be named in a first team squad until January.

I agree he did a job for us. But I don't believe he would have stepped up to championship level and as such glad we didn't make the loan deal a permanent one. And scoring a goal in the Europa league isn't going to get me thinking we've let a world beater slip through our fingers

I remember watching the Italian team he managed on TV. He had four top internationals playing in midfield and they were bloody awful to watch.

 

The previous post mentioned perez also and I'd agree with that. Thought he was a fantastic player. Stand to be corrected but think his family failed to settle in this country and he moved back to France

No dig here Adam but the number of times I heard this during the last few weeks I can't buy it. Mind you Im still recovering from the miserable deadline day drought when it was built up as the most exciting deadline day for a few years.

I agree Chaddy tough choice. I would plump for Gallagher as unlike others I quite liked him. He performed reasonably well in an extremely poor side last time he was here. But this Brereton seems highly rated I just know nothing about him to form an opinion tbh?

If you could choose either Armstrong or Maddison who would you pick. I'm pretty sure we couldn't afford both and I'm a little torn. Think I'd try get Maddison on a permanent and try loan a striker in the mould of Graham. Not a clue who that would be mind

I agree. Attacking players are the priority but just seems odd we were interested in Bauer before the Wharton deal. Now that Wharton has gone I find it hard to believe a CB won't be coming in.

Agree completely. I think otzumer is a bit too lightweight and may not cut it the next level up. Could be proved wrong mind you but that's my honest opinion.
