I think first of all we need a new manager. I like Mowbray and the steady job he's done. But he's not done anything more than Bowyer, who was binned off by this stage in his tenure. Even Mowbray has talked about 3year cycles in management, which means he should be done according to his own theory. I believe the points per game system is what uefa are recommending or sporting merit as they call it. Your average points per game so far is awarded for your remaining games, and thus all promotion and relegation decided by this. At least I think that's how it works.
