  1. I agree Chaddy tough choice. I would plump for Gallagher as unlike others I quite liked him. He performed reasonably well in an extremely poor side last time he was here. But this Brereton seems highly rated I just know nothing about him to form an opinion tbh?
  2. Up the bid to 2million rather than the 3 they want and loan him back till January
  3. Yep I was one of those. It was only after his performance in league Cup final I finally admitted I was wrong and it was actually a masterstroke
  4. He's such a cock. It staggers me people still buy into his 'journalism'
  5. If you could choose either Armstrong or Maddison who would you pick. I'm pretty sure we couldn't afford both and I'm a little torn. Think I'd try get Maddison on a permanent and try loan a striker in the mould of Graham. Not a clue who that would be mind
  6. Would be my guess also
  7. This is an old link from a couple of months back resurfacing which may be a worry. You asked me about him before as he used to play for Tamworth where I now live. Hopefully nothing in it.
  8. I agree. Attacking players are the priority but just seems odd we were interested in Bauer before the Wharton deal. Now that Wharton has gone I find it hard to believe a CB won't be coming in.
  9. Maybe a breakthrough with Charlton and Bauer!!
  10. Agree completely. I think otzumer is a bit too lightweight and may not cut it the next level up. Could be proved wrong mind you but that's my honest opinion.
  11. Eg Sean Dyche. Took an average Burnley side up and has kept them there
  12. Would like Armstrong. I would be quite happy with Gallagher also. Don't get the Chapman love in. Great player but made of glass it seems.
  13. Doesn't fit your remit anyway Chaddy. He's 31 so too old according to you
  14. Not writing him off BDS. Just saying it doesn't shout out quality. Don't really think you can argue that. He's 31 and the Highest level he's played at is championship and each year been a relegation battle. Truth is he is not going to be first choice anyway with Mulgrew Lenihan Downing and possibly Williams as an option with Bell at left back
  15. Absolutely nothing but a quick check on his career stats doesn't shout out quality.
  16. Sincerely hope not but nothing would surprise me
  17. Oh Jack what have you done. That's brought a tear to my eye.
  18. 'if the numbers are right' is a phrase often used by Nixon so it's hardly surprising its been adopted by Chaddy. He obviously thinks it makes him sound like a journo or ITK. Not sure I'd want to use someone as clueless as Nixon as a benchmark mind.
  19. Remember it well. Was in Blackburn end and had a great view as it went in. I and many around me applauded that goal. I think even Flowers joined in. Possibly the best goal I've seen 'live'-certainly by an opponent.
  20. I also believe Sam Gallagher would be good to have back if financially viable but we may need to seek out options that provide better value in order to strengthen the squad as a whole
  21. When's TM back of holiday. That's the key date for our trading to begin. Still think Chapman is a high risk transfer given his injuries
  22. What will be will be boys. I expect movement on TM's return from holiday. Meanwhile just take rumours and gossip as just that. Under the current regime I don't expect to hear anything until the players have signed.
