  1. Well, Rotherham didn’t help themselves, or us, today. Plymouth, gains within a point of us, ugh. We gotta keep that gap with the other catfish clubs.
  2. Y’all talk about Cup ties…I never heard the phrase, Cup draws. just saying. USED to wear a tie? I wore a tie to my job for 31 years. It was required Court attire. And, I still wear a tie occasionally. I cannot quit after so many years. Besides, I have about 30 of ‘em 😅
  3. Predicting these games is an impossible task, but here’s the matchups: Rovers (45 pts) vs Saints; Stoke (45) vs WBA; Hud (40) vs Millwall (44); Leicester vs Brum (42); Roth (23) vs pilgrims (41). If Rovers get even a point, it’s a boost. Obviously we need baggies, foxes, & Rotherham to win. Don’t count on Rotherham. I don’t want to see Hud get any closer, but we don’t need Millwall to get ahead of us. A tie might be best there.
  4. Why do we yanks & rebs here in the good ol’ U.S.A. not say, “bugger off”?! 😂 I’m going to make a point to start saying it more often, lol
  5. Agreed, we will have to find our way without him next year, but I am elated right now.
  6. I am elated. I want the old club to win 'em all, but to win, 5-1- a blessing!
  7. My mind cannot comprehend 4 goals Does not compute. Maybe in one month it makes sense for our side
  8. We’re already having trouble staying up with them. Conceding a mere matter of time…
  9. David Raya… I never understood the criticisms of Raya. Regular ‘keeper at Arsenal now, livin the dream…
  10. About as good an 11 as we could hope for. COYB!
  11. Yes, I can see an improvement in our defending, which has been absolutely wonderful, compared to our attacking. I see no win on the horizon, until Shef Wed. Maybe. 1-1.
  12. We’re not the better team; but, the score sheet shows we are just one botched goal-keeping job away from a tie today.
  13. Rovers looking more clever in attack, making tractor boys work a bit
  14. TV explanation: “Szmodics was in the goal keepers eye-line…” Bosh
  15. 2 balls in the back of the net. Refs crapping on us worse than usual
  16. Other than pears lack of effort, our players give the effort. They’re just not good enough. Not to stave off relegation, certainly not to win promotion. The sad truth is, even if Gally & Siggy were available today, we’d still be facing a battering.
  17. Norwich levels it, a win we could pass Plymouth, if it remains this way. Might as well wish for 1995 again…
  18. A heavy rain should play in our favor, right? Tornado? Hurricane? Darkness? 😂 I’m seeing an exciting game in my Crystal ball, Rovers have players coming back, motivation, home crowd, etc. Alas, 2-3.
  19. This falls under the category of strange & unusual facts: Rovers have scored as many points at Ewood, since Eustace was brought in, as they did in Tomasson’s finale at Ewood (3). Defensively, we’ve improved, allowing 8 goals in 8 games. Offensively, we’re a mess, 6 goals from those same 8. I’m not saying Eustace is more effective, or less effective. In some ways, he’s steadied the ship. I believe some of this is on the players. There has to be a share of blame, as well as praise. Maybe with Carter & JR-C coming back, we can see not just improvement on the pitch, but more points, as well.
  20. This begins our final eight games; I cannot see us getting more than four points total, from these eight fixtures. I’m generally a sunshine pumper here. I’m just trying to get myself ready, in the event we drop to League 1. If it happens, it wouldn’t change my status as a fan. Rovers have shown on the pitch they are capable of competing, whenever we have sufficient quality players. We simply do not have them now, and the current state of affairs with the owners & the people they appoint to be in charge of the club has convinced me not to expect quality on the pitch anytime soon.
