Agreed, they were relatively toothless, but more than enough for Rovers. I was hoping so many guys returning from injury would give us a boost. The truth is, we’re a poor club. No miracles in this bunch, we’re League 1 bound.

In Morishita’s defense- He leads the club in assists, he’s getting the ball where guys can finish.

I have to say, after some of the defending blowups recently (Ipswich, Swans, etc), we’re looking much better in that regard. 135 minutes without conceding. A healthy Carter helps, getting Alebiosu back, etc.

Always hurt, it seems. Tronstad, for Captain. Morishita has value, leads Rovers in assists (5).

Every game is a struggle- even to get just a point. We need three badly; I say, 2-1, and I heartily expect a tussle right to the end of added time, to hold onto all 3. Arte et Labore.

Obviously, you have someone on your short list that’s available? As I said, make the right choice. I don’t think we should go back to Mowbray, & I’m not full of confidence with the other names being floated. I’m not being a wise-guy- who do you have in mind?

For me, keep Johnson the rest of the season. The club needs to get this hire right (not that they will).

I am afraid we’re going down, with or without VI. Our next two are vs #24 owls and @#19 Norwich. If Rovers won both, and there is no movement on the table immediately above us, that’s only good for 18th. The next three (@QPR, PNE, Bristol) will surely drop us right back down.

Just saw Downes of Soton score a goal, lying down. Methinks he outscores all our lads today, standing up!

We were blessed in recent years, by great Championship scorers like Szmodics, Brereton, Dack, Armstrong, etc. they’re elsewhere now, and we’re hurting for it. We’ve got Gudjohnsen (7), Ohashi (6), & Cantwell (4). Jorgy should help. We’re 22nd in goals. So, our place on the table is as it should be. Hopefully, a healthier squad now, & we will start seeing more goals.

That’s a point, fairly won by Rovers. A Pat on the back to Ismael, who managed decently, with better players. Need some wins though, still goal difference from relegation places

Five guys back for tomorrow, & Gudjohnsen & Montgomery next week. I want the team successful. By that, I mean let’s start seeing some 3 point results, & climb up the table, very soon. I give Ismael one game, to get this bunch on track. I will change my prediction for tomorrow. Oh, we still lose, but it’s much more close, 1-2.

Well, misery loves company. I have one team- Blackburn Rovers. I have to keep up with them. I live in Texas, so I don’t know what that is, but it’s not a boycott. I will be here- if nothing else, but to commiserate with my own kind. Painful but I need Rovers. If they’re not any good, so be it. I know we can’t count on owners or Admin. We’ve only got one Blackburn Rovers FC. I am not there. I need to pay attention to them. No matter how horribly bad they are, or how corrupt/stupid/incompetent the owners are.

U18’s had a huge win over Coventry; give a few of the lads a start. The result would be the same, but it would be exciting to watch.
