  1. I am elated. I want the old club to win 'em all, but to win, 5-1- a blessing!
  2. My mind cannot comprehend 4 goals Does not compute. Maybe in one month it makes sense for our side
  3. We’re already having trouble staying up with them. Conceding a mere matter of time…
  4. David Raya… I never understood the criticisms of Raya. Regular ‘keeper at Arsenal now, livin the dream…
  5. About as good an 11 as we could hope for. COYB!
  6. Yes, I can see an improvement in our defending, which has been absolutely wonderful, compared to our attacking. I see no win on the horizon, until Shef Wed. Maybe. 1-1.
  7. We’re not the better team; but, the score sheet shows we are just one botched goal-keeping job away from a tie today.
  8. Rovers looking more clever in attack, making tractor boys work a bit
  9. TV explanation: “Szmodics was in the goal keepers eye-line…” Bosh
  10. 2 balls in the back of the net. Refs crapping on us worse than usual
  11. Other than pears lack of effort, our players give the effort. They’re just not good enough. Not to stave off relegation, certainly not to win promotion. The sad truth is, even if Gally & Siggy were available today, we’d still be facing a battering.
  12. Norwich levels it, a win we could pass Plymouth, if it remains this way. Might as well wish for 1995 again…
  13. A heavy rain should play in our favor, right? Tornado? Hurricane? Darkness? 😂 I’m seeing an exciting game in my Crystal ball, Rovers have players coming back, motivation, home crowd, etc. Alas, 2-3.
  14. This falls under the category of strange & unusual facts: Rovers have scored as many points at Ewood, since Eustace was brought in, as they did in Tomasson’s finale at Ewood (3). Defensively, we’ve improved, allowing 8 goals in 8 games. Offensively, we’re a mess, 6 goals from those same 8. I’m not saying Eustace is more effective, or less effective. In some ways, he’s steadied the ship. I believe some of this is on the players. There has to be a share of blame, as well as praise. Maybe with Carter & JR-C coming back, we can see not just improvement on the pitch, but more points, as well.
  15. This begins our final eight games; I cannot see us getting more than four points total, from these eight fixtures. I’m generally a sunshine pumper here. I’m just trying to get myself ready, in the event we drop to League 1. If it happens, it wouldn’t change my status as a fan. Rovers have shown on the pitch they are capable of competing, whenever we have sufficient quality players. We simply do not have them now, and the current state of affairs with the owners & the people they appoint to be in charge of the club has convinced me not to expect quality on the pitch anytime soon.
  16. If we could manage a draw, I would almost take it right now, after some of the runover jobs the tractors have administered this season. However, this game will unfortunately expose our weaknesses, and Rovers will drop it despite heroic efforts, 1-2.
  17. Our defending has definitely improved since Eustace’s arrival. I know a point isn’t great, or what’s needed, or insures safety, but it does my heart good to get a clean sheet.
  18. I like our 11 today… until it fails. forss out, Azazz in
  19. And now for something totally different… Brentford a man down at turd morgue.
  20. That was a close call Whew! 😂 Glad to hear it, keep those entertaining posts coming!
