It’s been so long since we’ve played, all the lads play smart, & don’t concede early, give us a chance at the finish to nick a point. Chaddy & I, 1-1. -

What a bench today; glad to see Baker, otherwise, not much quality. -

Here we go, Rovers will have to fight like two possums in a sack for 20 min to keep a point. -

First time in a long time I awoke not excited on gameday. I didn’t even check the score until 33’. -

We knew going in, but his was going to be a toughie to count on points from- at Ewood, their house, or on the moon. I love great defense, and not ashamed to crow over a clean sheet, particularly, against these guys, who have a couple of great scorers. Great effort, Rovers players & staff! -

Rovers’ squad has quality, finally, enough to see some decent players on the bench. I will not disagree, with those who say Beck may be our best. Lad is tough as nails. Dolan, our most improved so far (?). despite our personnel gains, I’d say mediocre in goal. I’d start Yuki, leaving Weimann & Siggy on the bench. A win would be wonderful, finally defeat someone ahead of us on the table. however, I’m seeing a 1-1 type of affair. Prove me wrong, Rovers! -

My earlier optimism for our season, has waned considerably. I think Beck & Brittain returning will benefit us, but the goals have all but dried up, and we seem somewhat lost at the moment. The next two at home vs strong teams will tell us much. Unfortunately, looking at the next three games, I think 3 points might be the best we can manage. -

We all figured a beating of monumental proportions was in the works. It’s good for us… humbling. -

Regarding Hedges, Pickering, etc.: Our roster has clearly been upgraded to the point we have some great depth on our bench. If Hedgy & Pick go to the bench, I’d say it simply enhances both starters & bench. It’s what has been needed, to get to playoff positions, & stay there. Yes, I do believe we can always upgrade our talent, but right now, I say Rovers, barring disastrous injuries, should be in the hunt for a playoff spot, all season. -
We were in Canmore, Banff, & Lake Louise during the last two games. I will say, I am very pleased with our run to start the season, and the way Eustace has handled the team. I don’t have the time to look back through every page, but is it true Eustace might be looking elsewhere for employment?

I have confidence Eustace plays his best 11. Rovers are relatively fit, with some good scoring options on the bench. I will not guarantee a win vs Bristol, and we’ve got some toughies on the upcoming schedule. But, Rovers should be competitive in all these matches. -

Eight pts from 12 to start the season; Transfers & loans appear to be solid; Eustace seems to have a plan in mind, in lieu of a project. He also seems to have the coaching acumen needed. We sit in 3rd at the break. I’m not saying that’s where we end up, but we are off to a good start. I’m encouraged. -

Is Eustace a better football man than we imagined? Several of those draws last year were distasteful or seemed unfortunate for us; but some of those pts were very helpful in staying up. Other than Sammie, we weren’t any good. This season, our transfers are helping out, & we seem to have stabilized a bit. Defending still very suspect at times, but we’re seeing improvement under Eustace, that I did not expect. -

Play burnley, at their place, down a man for 40 minutes, with the refs in their pocket, and we still get a point. Great showing, Rovers! -
