  1. I love a clean sheet! I love a clean sheet!
  2. A fellow American, an Ohio Rover, is doing the watch along on Rovers Chat, glad to hear from him. Cheers, mate!
  3. Khadra with the start, I like it. Otherwise, no big surprises. I am wary of playing teams above us on the table, with anything approaching expectations of a win. We shall see. 1-1
  4. All in all, a very rewarding day: - BB-D with a brace; - two DF score; - clean sheet. Best, most complete game of the season(so far)!
  5. It appears we’re getting some decent chances
  6. For as poorly as we played most of the game, a point on the road isn’t bad. Regroup midweek vs Peter, get the win, lads.
  7. Tbh, I didn’t believe we would be this close to playoff places, at this point in the season. No time to rest, gotta keep adding points, 1-2. Rovers!
  8. Very enjoyable synopsis. Thank you!
  9. Great answer by Rovers today. I dunno if it was players response, Mowbray’s tinkering or both, but great response, lads.
  10. Poveda & Khadra, both contributing big time
  11. I agree, but how bad is bad, when we lead, 2-1!? 😂
  12. You & I know that; but, as he’s proven many times before, nobody knows what’s going on in his mind.
  13. Ol’ Tony has certainly shaken things up, hasn’t he?!? I guess he’s thinking, “it can’t be any worse than midweek”
  14. It’s nice to hear so many are going & taking their kiddos to a Rovers game for the first time. Don’t let the clown on the touchline run you off. I hope Rovers give y’all a good showing today. COYB!!!
  15. Scary, no matter who is played there. Some are better than others, but I’m afraid it wont take ShefU long to figure out our weakness.
  16. I can accept losing, if the lads give a proper effort and TM doesn’t make a mess of the best available 11. What I do not think we can accept, is a poor effort, a poor selection, and an even poorer configuration not suited to our players. This might be the last chance of the season for mgmt to sell bargain tickets, and expect any kind of walk up crowd. Another home shellacking, and they won’t find takers for freebies.
  17. Excellent preview, for a newcomer like me to read any of the history of Rovers is always rewarding. Of course, you’ve set the bar higher for future previews, Rog, keep up the good work! I am hoping the lads make a good showing, rebuild their pride and give the fans a good show. TK, Nyambe, & Lenihan will be on top of their game. I am expecting BB-D to increase his value as well.
  18. I’m afraid the message they would get is, time to pull the plug and cut their losses. We aren’t dealing with people who have any emotional attachment whatsoever to the club. It’s simply a business to them, and a business losing millions, at that. When they turn out the lights, I’m sure they will say something like, “we regret to end our relationship with this fine old club, but in light of dwindling attendance and lack of community interest, we had no choice…”
  19. The club may not last that long. Owners could write it off. Their losses have to be upwards of £300 mil. I don’t think any of us want to believe it could happen, but with their absence from the club for so long, there’s no way they care, or have any passion. I am now convinced the owners see the club as a white elephant, and won’t pay .01 more than they have to. Mowbray, waggott, etc, could be the least of our worries. These are scary financial times. Bury. Bolton, almost. Sad to contemplate, but the possibility exists.
