So it's the fan fault that he has mustered 2 goal's in 2 years? There was me thinking that it was him not being good enough and Mowbray for paying well above his worth but how stupid of me of course it is the fans fault.  If a bit of stick from fans for his performance's are going to reduce his chances of coming to something, then he obviously doesn't have the right mentality to be a striker. I'd also dispute that the fans have been hostile to him I think that they have been remarkably patient and offered a lot of good will to him, he'd have certainly got a lot more stick from supporters at other clubs.

Fan pressure can effect a player as can price tags. See Fernando Alonso for instance

You don't have to look any further than messages directed at him on social networking sites to see the kind of abusive rhetoric directed at him and we all know it is directed at him from the stands.

He was signed up by Notts Forest and Rovers. He is undoubtedly a talented lad.

Would be genuinely interested to know what sporting qualifications you have to judge his potential.

I'm voicing an opinion on him that is the idea of a forum. It's up to him with his performances to change my mind and in 2 years at the club he has been unable to.

Chances he will ever come to something will reduce as long as fans continue to pressure him the way they do.

Striker position is a difficult one to be successful in, especially when fans are hostile.

It's not his fault how much money the club spent on him.

I can in some way understand Mulgrew frustration. You play the strongest team and right now Wharton is ahead... I hope Mulgrew finds a new club and we get a new manager in. Another clueless performerance today.

Does seem like Mowbray has a poor relationship with some players.

Dack hasn't signed a new contract for whatever reason, Mulgree unhappy, Nyambe seems unhappy for whatever reason and Chapman has been treated shodily.

Bit unfair to knock the lad for doubling his wages and playing in the Prem.

I'd look at Ajayi and Bartley and think, I can take one of their spots....

40 games at Rovers in the Championship or 15 games off the bench at WBA in the Premier League. Ultimately that is his choice.

There's (rightly) a lot of stick towards the senior leadership as to our usual speed in the transfer market.

I'm actually rather impressed at how we've moved very swiftly onto the next target, once we got an experienced keeper through the door.

    Long may this trend continue.

We have bid on at least 3 players in the last week. We know who 2 are. I don't know the 3rd. We are acting on our targets.

The WBA thing is quite obviously his agent trying to get more cash for his client.

Quite why anyone is still listening to Alan Nixon, is beyond me. Remember the loosely agreed rule that we mentioned earlier....

    There is interest from WBA.

    No bid from them yet.

    Expect progress tomorrow.

Still being told Leeds are hovering.

Only team to put in a formal bid is Rovers.

  7. Kipré interest from the Premier League is there. But like I said, heard it was Leeds who'd tentatively indicated interest.

Rovers are further down the line as Rich Sharpe said however to the degree Rovers rep's are discussing years of contract and when a medical can take place. No other bid from any other club has been made to the creditors yet. But that can change at any time.
