I've never been Travs biggest fan, definitely limited but he does have great leadership which is what we'll miss the most. Hopefully we see Baradji come in as a replacement.

Just on your last paragraph. We all know that Gestede has no power on contract negotiations don't we? It's one man's decision and he's the bloke who's cutting the budget probably every year. Gestede is finding players and even then I imagine it's a challenge to get signed off.

I agree on all this...De Neve will struggle I think, seems to press well and has a good engine but I think that's about it. Hopefully I'm wrong but says it all when fans Kortrijk were scratching theirs heads on the move.

I think we can all agree that no more money will be spent after Baradji. Our budget was 5million if I'm not mistaken, we are surely in n around that mark after Henriksson and Baradji.

Think his overall point is that people saying x player is not as good as x without seeing both play.

I'm imagine Baradji will be the Travis replacement (if it happens).

How are you not convinced on Kargbo? He's literally the perfect example of an impact sub to change the dynamic of a game.

He will be missed! Did struggle at times especially defensively in his first 2 years but the last 12 months, yes, he was arguably one of the best RWB in the league. I wouldn't go as far as it making us significantly weaker, I've confidence that Miller and Alebiosu will be good enough replacements. At least he's not walked for free...

Not so sure on the last bit...Baradji and Henriksson look like good prospects. Besides half our fanbase don't rate Cantwell anyway and Travis has his limitations. Personally think Baradji looks like a beast of his own.

Again, the original response was based on bringing in Miller, Baradji and Henriksson. If they all come in before the next home game then you have to give Gestede (abit of credit) that's it. I'm not relating it to anything else he's done/said.

I replied to a poster who commented on how quick our business has been, compared to other windows. In that respect you have to give Gestede credit...I'm not saying he's the next messiah. Also let's be brutally honest here, it's not his job to decide on who gets to stay and go, that is in fact the rat he reports to.
