O i'm sure Styles will leave, i think their fans have had enough of him...Its just whether he comes to us over someone else...Bournemouth, Fulham & Forest were all originally interested in him but i think since have fallen away... Recently its been us & Bejiktas...You just hope & pray someone like Boro don't come in for him.

I watched him yesterday in their friendly...Looks a decent player to be honest..I'm not sure where we'd put him, he's similar to Buckley i'd say.

I get the same impression...He was out muscled very easily...Not sure how quick he actually is, but he doesn't look rapid...Also his height isn't in his favour...Seems like a good lad, but if we want to be progressing then i personally would stick him out on loan or for him to be a backup. I'm all up for being proven wrong btw I feel like we may go for a loan option upfront personally.

Back to business…I’d say we will get 3 signings this week…Liverpool lad, Szmodics & a CB. Im hoping we’re still in for styles so if we could get him over the line that would be incredible…Also a new number 9. With interest from Bowler to Forest I think we can put that one to bed.

Hopefully we get Szmodics over the line tomorrow… few days training should see him in the number 10 role…That for me pushed Hedges on the RW

Similar team to yesterday....I would have Szmodics as number 10 with Hedges on the RW…Then a choice of Gally/Vale uptop…

Sorry pal, If you read some of my other posts then you’ll find I’ve not exempting gally at all…I think him & Pickering were, by far, the worse players on the pitch… Gallagher for me has to start ahead of vale at a Number 9 instead of being on the RW. In an ideal world i wouldn’t have Gally at all, but if we’re utilising him then he’s a number 9…He has the advantage of Height, Strength & probably pace over Vale…that’s the only positives I have to say about Sam. Maybe Vale on the RW would suit him better?

Funny how people have different opinions…I wouldn’t start Vale…I personally don’t think he’s strong enough for the championship (I think a loan out would help him massively) …It’s not Like he has a lot of pace either to help…something which Dolan does have…I’d start Gally at the top with hedges on the right with Szmodics number 10 at Swansea… Hate to say it but you can usually tell someone is going to do well, I just don’t see it with Vale…full marks for effort but maybe an impact sub is something which may suit him…saying that I’d rather Dolan/Dack be that option.

LWB I meant… Barnsley fans rate him better at LWB Makes sense, I didn’t see him come out to applaud the fans after the game whereas the other subs did… People might think this next thing is sad but Dacks literally not put anything on Instagram which he usually does, no likes on any players or the page or anything…. Correct…One thing that stood out for me was his first touch down to Diaz from Buckley cross ball pass…lead to Diaz hitting it first time on the half volley which saw the keeper to a good save…That cross ball comes to Nyambe and he heads it out of play or chests it and runs to the corner flag and it comes to nothing… Although I agree Brittain had a few nervy moments, he is an upgrade on Nyambe…Toward the latter stage of the 2nd Brittain did step in with a few good challenges.

It looks like Szmodics is coming so for me the Positions we need filling are LB & CB…Styles is the man we need. I really hope JDT doesn’t see Pickering as good enough.

I really worry for Gally…Like a lot say, his touch and vision is truly shocking…he’s obviously not the best finisher either…He’s an absolute grafter but that’s all he is I’m afraid…If BB goes we better have a striker lined up….

Correct me if I’m wrong but he also didn’t come out after the final whistle…I thought his body language was fine during the warm ups, seems like he was giving vale plenty of advise…but not coming out at the end I find odd.

Vale for me isn’t strong enough, defiantly not a starter but a worthy Sub. Think Gally is better there with Szmodics RW or CAM
