We play a formation of wing backs with the worlds slowest LWB. How does that work.

It’s a massive relief that we can pull a performance like that off….I was extremely worried coming into the game watching previous home games…. I just feel like it’s going to be one of those inconsistent seasons but I’ll take that if it’s going to give JDT & GB time to bring quality in…A tough game on Saturday where I’d happily take a well fought draw.

Watford almost playing like we have the past few games. I’m shocked how bad they are to be honest. We need another goal, Watford maybe playing poorly but they have the quality to turn this around.

No way we’re getting a result tonight. Expect an easy 2/3-0 win for Watford.

I think every time goes through inconsistent spells in the championship. Let’s put it this way, out of the 7 games on Saturday I only got 2 results correct. The others were shock results IMO

Wigan don’t have the best squad but they have players like McLean & Power who will simply eat our young squad alive. As a result I feel JDT will switch around a little, move Trav back in the middle, ideally with Wharton & then Carter to RB. I really fear for us here, however I said the same before Blackpool. If we want to be treading above water then we need to be beating teams like Wigan. I’d take anything other than a loss..A scrappy clean sheet 0-0 - However I predict 3-1 Wigan with fans starting to turn at JDT. Roughly 3k rovers fans.

That’s exactly how it will go….I like the idea of JDTs style of play but we are going to need a lot more quality if that’s going to happen. I’m sure Gregg will see this as the season goes on. Dont get me wrong if we don’t pluck out wins then questions will need to be asked. But if we pull performances like Blackpool now & again then it shows that it COULD work. Next week I worry because Wigan have experience and toughness in their team. Something we lack. Max power is going to have a field day against Morton or Wharton. We need Travis in the middle or we loose IMO.

Sorry my point is we will be up & down all season with results going not the way we expect. My worry is how many goals we’ve shipped…Hopefully with players back that will ease.

I put this point across yesterday. He’s at much a fault as for when we gave the ball away in the first place…For a defensive midfielder, he has to do better.

O behave… I think you get my point. We outplayed Blackpool 4 days ago, & the same happened to us yesterday. “o but blackpool are a terrible team”… they beat QPR at their place a few weeks back. It’s the championship!

I think you’ll find GB has stated things will take time. This season i feel will be case of 1 win, 3 losses then a draw…I’m happy with that & waiting to see who comes in on the next few windows. If it comes to this time next season and we’re at the same level then ‘maybe’ we should be slightly worried.

It’s clear that the difference from the first two home games results to the last two home games is players out injured. All though I don’t think we played that well in the first 2, we had Brittain, Trav in the middle with Ayala at the back. If we can get 4 points before the international break then I’ll be happy….Hopefully after have a full fit squad.

I think a lot of it it is heat of the moment. I tend to get up the following day and re-think my thought to agreement with you. But at the same time the manor of our losses is a worry. We won’t go down, but we won’t make the top half IMO. Patience is key, & I’m happy to wait. It’s still refreshing to hear JDT even after a loss. I’m just glad moggers isn’t here. Where did Farke finish his first season with Norwich? Was it 12th? Then he got them promoted the season after.

Agreed. Worrying thing is that there’s no way we get a result next week. It will be a much more difficult game to Blackpool. Although Wigan have a relatively poor squad, they have tough experience…Something we lack. See us leaking a lot of goals again.

If you watch Travis for their first goal…My god he even looked at the lad behind him but carried on as if he wasn’t there. If he was tighter then they don’t score. I know he’s not a wing back but you don’t need to be a wing back to know to stick tight.

Needs to go on loan…League 1 standard at best.

Styles having a blinder of a game for Millwall today….We’re stuck with Pickering,just because he’s classed as recently bought…. If a player isn’t good enough he’s not good enough.

The midfield today was shocking. A complete contrast from Wednesday night.

Man this is so so so bad….It’s the manor of the losses that frustrates me. We’ve never been in this game. We lose next week which I will bank my house that we will & JDT is under serious pressure.

Brereton clumsyness costing us a chance in this game. If your not worried now then you should be. No pace, lack of depth & quality. Wednesday was a blip…We are going to struggle massively this year.
