  1. As a whole we lack a lot of quality. We miss a Rothwell, even a Khadra. I honestly thought we held our point until they scored. We started the better team in the first 5 minutes of the second half. As soon as Gally went off there was only was result. It’s very worrying of when we play bad that it really is the worst….This will sting for a while. Maybe a break now is for the best.
  2. It’s not like it’s a one off. We’ve been playing like this all season and yet we still sit 3rd…
  3. We just don’t have the quality. No wonder other teams mock us. It’s the biggest lie that we sit 3rd in the league before the World Cup break.
  4. Deep down we all knew this performance & result was coming…let’s not pretend to be surprised. 1 shot all game.
  5. Not a great game but I feel we have kept Burnley at bay. Brittain is glued to benson!
  6. Nerves really kicking in now. We just have to show up! Play like we have some away games and we will get a thrashing. Come on!!!!
  7. Mental, doesn’t this game go into extra time if still a draw??? Awful decision to bring Diaz on!
  8. I personally think we will Surprise them on the day of the derby. Especially with how confident they are - I’m talking about the rest of the season. If we carry on our awful away performances then we will slowly creep down the league. They’ve lost like one game…if they carry that on there’s only one place they’re going.
  9. Yeap, I hope peoples frustrations at Burnley are because we don’t like them & not because they are 1st & we’re 2nd. Pains me to say it but we arnt close to Them & wont be come the end of the season. Teams we need to keep an eye on are 6th & 7th. Even with that I think we will slowly fall down the league. As a whole, Yeap, results have gone our way so makes last night a slight let off.
  10. Just read that Gally is a doubt for the weekend. Huge Loss if the case… Think we need another body in midfield with Diaz uptop on his Own.
  11. I would go with the below. Kaminski Hyam Ayala Wharton Brittain Pickering Morton Travis Wharton Gallagher Brereton Feel Sammy will replace A Wharton but it’s Vital that Gally starts. Although Hudds have a newish manager, they are quite a poor side. I’d rank them as good as hull so anything other than a win is a terrible result. A win will be needed as can only see us loosing the game after this.
  12. I agree, even in the position we’re in, which is a real shame. If we linger around the top 6 come January then hopefully that will attract some ‘decent’ players.
  13. He’s an obvious candidate…Just thought their left back looked a decent player. Got up the pitch and looked comfortable. Gyokeres would solve many problems for us.
  14. Yeap, I kept a close eye on him when he came on. His movement was terrible. You can just see nerves. Poor man’s Joe Nuttall & he was gash also.
  15. Best player on the pitch was Coventrys Left back. Some player…Where did they get him from??
  16. Jim…come on mate, it was not worse than Luton & Reading. Brittain scores that sitter, it’s a different game.
  17. Am I missing something here? People Saying A Wharton had a poor game? By all means he didn’t have his best game, neither did anyone else. However he’s heads above most on that pitch and he’s only 18 years old. Has to be the first name on the sheet. Morton the poorer of the 2 tonight.
  18. George Hirst surely has to be one of the worst signings of all time? Anyway we have played only a nudge better than the horror shows we’ve seen. Still a very poor showing. Not even testing their keeper in the second half bar a free kick. A reaction on Saturday is a must.
  19. Scott Whartons distribution is Terrible. He’s not been the same player since injury. A Wharton the best player on the pitch for us.
  20. We deserve it. Having some slight glimpses of play but overall…So so so so poor.
  21. Not confident tonight. I’d take a draw with a win at home on Sat. More importantly, if we play well but don’t get a result. I won’t be too bogged down. I can’t deal with a repeat of Luton, Cardiff or Wigan away.
