Not that I rate Hirst but he really wasn’t going to score many with how we’ve been playing. Think with the service he is at the top end of League 1 and possibly low end championship standard. -

Buckley can’t pass???? Haha No where have I seen anyone say Buckley is a world beater, or top 6 championship player so not sure what you’re going on about. Believe me if i could pick anyone else for CM out of any championship team Buckley wouldn’t be there so hopefully that’s enough to clam things We can only work with the players we have unfortunately…However in my opinion Buckley & A Wharton are currently our best CMs… Mortons strength is probably a long ball…that’s really all it, maybe a nice touch….He’s been like a lost little boy for the last half dozen games & has been out of position so many times, holds on to the ball for far too long, he clearly isn’t strong enough….he’s costs us a lot more points that people think… I don’t see Travis in the team at the moment. -

Sorry the word should have been *shown more. His Press, change of pace, vision and passing is above both Travis & Morton…no arguments…As a result him & A Wharton are our best CMs. -

Buckley has done more than Travis & Morton in 2 games the than they have all season…well the majority of the season. Trav & morton started well then have been non existent ever since really. -

Our best midfield duo after watching all options has to be Buckley & A Wharton….Morton on his day is a good championship player & thats on his day. He’s had a lot of poor games so that needs sorting… Not a chance he will make it in the prem, not in the next 3-4 years anyway… If we can get an experienced CDM, we have a solid midfield….Travis is not the answer. -

I thought the same but if you look him up, videos etc he looks very good. For his age anyway. -

We all know JDT has a lot to learn but what separates him from his predecessor is players will be dropped no matter what status they have. Travis not coming into today really shocked me, although he’s been poor, thought he would have got the nod… To get a young Garrett start ahead of you must be a sucker punch. It was the right choice because he had a good game! We just need A Wharton to come back in. Feel he will get his chance again, along with Makanday @ Norwich. -

Yeap, it’s so obvious & clear. Hopefully GB has a few lined up. We need some pace. -

Imagine if we had a player with pace! Really need to look at that in January/summer. -

we are playing awful stuff which fans will get frustrated with however as bad as it looks, no one should be wanting JDT removed until we’ve had a full transfer window….I’m not directing the latter at you but there are some posters who want him gone….it’s mental… -

Thank you Ossy….JDT has the players he has. Not his fault his options are Travis & & Academy player. -

The game was at 1-1 when the red card was given…then it went to 2-1? How does the red card not play a factor? Especially when it was one of our best players who went… Agreed, Dack has been great, however the manager has clearly stated it was about his fitness…The subs were right on the night anyway…otherwise we’d of been over run & probably conceded more goals. …Morton was terrible & Dack isn’t exactly the best & quickest at tracking back….(cue someone say Garrett & Travis were No bEtTeR)…aye I agree with you…they were sh*te and I hope we have a better duo tomorrow. -

You’ve highlighted two points to fit your agenda. My points still stand, we have played some awful stuff & I mean awful i admit….However as I’ve explained I’m happy to wait for a full transfer window with a new DOF & Manager to judge the “project”. Sorry I’m not as impatient as many, I’ve been supporting rovers since 1991 BTW. -

Agreed…I think we’ve seen JDT can be quite naive, on the pitch especially….Think it’s soemthing which he will look back & think I could have worded that better….We as fans know what he’s getting at….Under Mowbray I had no excitement about transfers as I don’t think he was half bothered….Feel like next could be different…New Manager, new DOF, new head of recruitment…That excites me & that is what’s keeping me just afloat with the slightly awful football we’re witnessing. -

Maybe a wrong choice of words from JDT. I’m sure he will listen back and slightly regret…remember English isn’t his first lanaguage. To me that statement means we don’t have the quality, things will take time, stay patient…Surley im not the only one who thinks that…We all want to be at the top level but come on…. We have 3/4 academy players on our bench. It just won’t happen anytime soon. We need to be patient & IF we see no progress next Xmas then I will be the first to be like many (already) wanting him gone. -

Turning on a manger when we were in control & then have a game turn due to a red card…Aye…about right for rovers fans. Everyone has the right to be angry & fustrsted of how we are playing…however to turn on a manager when he’s not even had a full summer of transfers is just bonkers… -

If we see Morton & Travis in the middle then it will be a long afternoon…. Morton is starting to look like a lost school boy. If he thinks he’s going back to Liverpool to fight for a place then he’s got another thing coming. In his current form, I wouldn’t take him back…he needs to perform. -

Cardiff haven’t won in 6, lowest goal scores in the league, sit 19th in the league…We know where this is heading. I can see a frustrated 0-0, Or a 1-0 either way. Cardiff will be difficult to break down so not going to be easy. Like most have said, it is a MUST win game. We could fall as low as 9th if we don’t and other around us win. Perhaps more the position we should be in reflecting on how we’ve played. A Wharton is the only person to replace Buckley. If the rumours are true then both player & manager need to grow up and sort out!!!If it’s a Travis & Morton Duo then we are due for a truely awful football match. In a full fit team I wouldn’t have either of them in the middle. Feel as if Markanday should be given a chance to come on especially if we get a few goals. We were unfortunate against Boro & if we put in a similar shift then we shouldn’t have a problem. If the players support the manager then again we shouldn’t have a problem… Come on you Blues! -

Yeap, I think we will really miss Buckleys vision in these next few games and it could really be the difference in results. Really not looking forward to the return of Travis….Travis couldn’t pick a pass more than 20 years an away to save his life. That’s where 90% of our good play last night came from. Really worried about the Cardiff game, even with their horrific away form.
