Comparing Bellamy to BB doesn't work. Bellamy in my eyes was one of the best strikers in the league in his prime. I don't think BB will ever be as good as him. But like some have said, people are jumping on the bang wagon far to soon in my eyes. Lets see what happens after a few starts this season. Then we can judge. BB's price tag does not help him in anyway.

Althought i get other peoples points. I think i'm with you here mate. I see glimpses in him. How many games has he started? Not many. Is he worth 7m? Definatly not. I would defiantly start the lad more.

There's a difference between a younger lad not 'working out' & a 35 year old not. There is no excuse in signing Stewart Downing. I'm not bothered if he turns out to be okay. The guys 35! We need YOUNG players who want to learn and adapt. Downing is on his last legs, replacing Conway with him is utter shambles.

So puzzled by this. If we hadn't spent 7m on Brereton i would be more than happy for this to happen. The fact we cannot afford this bloke makes it obvious not to get him. We need to try & get the best out of Brereton. We cannot afford to loose Dack or Lenihan over SG. We need a bloody defender!

We spent 7m on BB. We need to start playing the lad more before we fork out another 5m on a player who hardly played last season.

Gallagher I feel is okay. I'd take him, but for 5m I would not. BB has my backing for at least another season. Get the lad to play more and hopefully he can prove a lot of people wrong.

Which makes it even more obvious not to get him.

Glad Conway is leaving in a way we can focus on The younger lads and possibly bribing someone new on the wing. The biggest respect to Craig though. A very good servant for BRFC.

More than happy for Smallwood to leave. The lad is not championship level.

From his brilliant, intelligent interview he gave (which we all loved to bbc lancs) I would of expected, Conway & Gladwin to be on the bus out here. Why keep them?? Like most of last season his comments and actions don't match. Still plenty of time however...

Raya over Canadian. Not sure what the issue is over Raya? Lad is young and had more better games than badder.

The thing that annoys me most is how people have some sort of apprieciation of Evans & Smallwood. One comment , on the board earlier, I believe said they are useful players? We have young fresh n blood players screening to get in the squad and these two average joes are stopping them. Davenport who I thought started poorly (nervous) closed down and looked double the players the crabs do. Enough of the loyalty Tony and get rid of them!!

Agreed, Difference between Dack n Rothwell is that Dack has a very good football brain. Rothwell although outstanding on the ball perhaps overthinks & panicks.

There hasn't been an atmosphere at ewood since the Hughes era. Said it on here a while ago and got my head bit off. Ewood is one of the quietest grounds in the league. On the other hand our away support is class.
