  1. If the owners can keep us going with wages etc to compete in the loan/free market that will be a bonus, funds will come available sooner or later with a bit of luck, Josh King will move on, We may lose an asset, Plenty of scenarios up in the air
  2. Sorry, not the best at using forums, just tried adding to what u were saying
  3. All debt is owed to the owners so by putting themselves into administration is pointless, players will be let go, Brentford have proved by selling your assets doesn't always end bad, Recruitment needs to be right
  4. Carter very composed and done his job well, Lenihan was beaten twice for both Reading goals which he would usually win, very promising showing
  5. Mowbray talking about the youth academy again, We have spent loads keeping it as a cat 1, we have pushed a few youth in over the past few seasons and they have stepped up and become assets, We still have a few more waiting for the opportunity, wingers, defenders, could force the tactical genius to play players in natural positions
  6. There will be a lot of potential available this summer and players can be replaced, Lenihan, Nyambe, Travis, Armstrong, These four will decide our future, we will have to take a hit massively on current squad to progress with restructure, or we get lucky with sell on clauses which won't be enough for what we need, we have not sold anyone for big money for years and like you said owners won't want to keep paying with no returns, i still see it as an exciting summer, but there will be many ups and downs
  7. There won't be any budget, we were relying on the sale of Dack before the injury to set us straight, The way the contract situations are going is proof we have no money, We need sales and wont be surprised over the next 2 weeks players will be talked up and put in the window
  8. This summer transfer window will be manic, There will be a lot of players specially youngsters who will be looking for a contract/playing time, cuts will be made and prem clubs will have to subsidise majority of wages, squads will be trimmed so if there is any sort of budget bargains could become available, The pandemic will have a massive impact on most clubs but feel a big fee sale could potentially get us a few good deals coming in
  9. we will need a bit of luck this summer in transfer dealings, Hopefully the owners give us a little something to work with, or Player sales of Josh King could help, If this side is to push on we may need to sacrifice an asset to help
  10. Hes been on Twitter a few years pretending to know rovers news, been called out alot and he hasn't guessed anything
  11. Sure he said nothing was happening last january and we signed someone within the hour
  12. I did think of Derbyshire, didn't add him as he is getting on now and not good enough for us
  13. Any more news on the ex player coming back, Rhodes is a no go too expensive, Gestede would be the same, There are no others apart from Rochina and Marshal who play in the positions we are looking at who are ex players
  14. But we already have the fastest player in the world in that position
  15. One to keep an eye on, We don’t need another forward player but he would certainly make us stronger
  16. Saw a rumour on here a week or 2 back that we had representatives in Glasgow, looking at a keeper and a winger, Celtic letting Sinclair go for around 2.5 mill, I wonder ?
  17. Maybe they use the same system as Liverpool, Team has to guarantee a certain percentage of games or there’s a massive fee in the clause
  18. I feel he was signed just for the reason of having games called off due to internationals,
  19. Most top sides in this division loan expensive premiership players to push for top 6, Most are outfield players mainly strikers, Maybe ours will be in the form of Foster with option to buy
  20. Time will tell, with strikers getting more expensive by the year can’t see no problem getting our money back at least
  21. The fee for Brereton could of been spent strengthening other areas at that time, The lad is still young and with a good season within the next few years he could be sold for a really good fee, A fee that could potentially stabilise our club for a few years
