i`ve got great memories of highfield road, shearer monstering them in our first season in the premier league and an irate coventry fan throwing a pint glass at my head😆,to be fair to coventry it`s not their fault a silly egg chasing club has gone bust because they got over ambitious,i hope coventry can get their own ground someday and get back on track

Forgotten Playerssimongarnerisgod replied to HugeChin's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard chris thompson, big clumsy striker,a good partnership with simon garner, not very well liked on the riverside(who was in those days!!!),scored quite a few goals in his three seasons with us before being sold to wigan,i did read he met an untimely death a few years ago due to alcohol problems

made the bench at brighton plenty of times but does`nt get on the pitch much, the lad is wasting his massive potential imo,it`s clear he is`nt going to crack the starting eleven
-
combination of venkys, high walk on prices for the area and the club having lost the community,it used to be the centre of the town, even under jack walkers tenure,it will never come back unless the indians and swag **** off
-
	blokes a mercenary,i really don`t like him
-
i sincerely hope we give the ***** the same amount of tickets they gave us,swag will have other ideas though🤬

v Birmingham City (h) 22/10/2022simongarnerisgod replied to Upside Down's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard they want the ball and actively seek it out, after a good spell last season, buckley has been terrible this one, hence his exile from the side,he was particularly bad against reading and sheff utd,we might as well have started with 10 men

anyone remember the game at preston when we were 2-0 and lost 3-2 ,neil changed formation and shape, mowbray had`nt got a clue what to do when preston started hammering balls into the box,he stood there shaking his head all second half

BRFC - The Nostalgia Threadsimongarnerisgod replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard happy times supporting rovers in that era,we used to grab a few underage pints in the beechwood then pile on to the blackburn end, glad friends and i got the real version of football before the sky "revolution" changed the game forever, games never been the same since sky and all seating were introduced

v Birmingham City (h) 22/10/2022simongarnerisgod replied to Upside Down's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard try the fox and hounds literally across the road from the ground, gets busy though ,further up the road is the brown cow, alternatively the fernhurst, even nearer the ground, though the away fans tend to congregate in their and birmingham fans ar`nt noted for their friendly nature

Premier League 22-23simongarnerisgod replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard gerrard lost the dressing room at the start of the season, taking the captaincy off tyrone mings then keeping him in the side,he should have got shut because mings is not very good but an influence in the dressing room,a lethal combination for a manager, considering the resources he`s got it is`nt looking good for him, tbh,i never liked him,**** for england and he was way behind scholes, kean and viera when it came to ability and class, despite what the media wrote
