  1. bloody criminal imo, though we might have struggled with forest, the other three are easily beatable,at the risk of repeating myself, tony threw it away in january not signing a centre forward
  2. i also had a pleasant dream that our new manager played with two flying wingers supplying a reborn gallagher with a steady stream of quality balls, suddenly he became the most deadly striker outside the premier league, his impact was such that he earned a big money move to newcastle, unfortunately for big sam,as soon as he landed in the north east, eddie howe resigned for family reasons and mowbray was appointed,he was back on the wing first game under tony🙂
  3. i don`t get the hype for arteta,he`s developed arsenal into a team of flat track bullies and he`s not capable of taking them any further imo,🤣 like watching a good old derby destruction
  4. im`e so glad to be rid of mowbray and his square peg in round hole system,i`ll welcome almost anybody
  5. leeds paid 25 million quid for him, which was a complete ****** joke,he can run fast but can`t do much else🙂
  6. exactly my thoughts, wycombe have nothing to be scared off
  7. good player, getting to the veteran stage now,to say we can`t afford his wages when he plays for sheff wed,who are completely brassic and a division below us is a bit of a daft claim,i did hear there was a lad at chorley who has a big future,we could`nt afford his wages apparently😁
  8. keith " i think im`e zidane " andrews,
  9. hughton is to much like mowbray for me,plays the same conservative way,has always worked on a pretty big budget as well, which he is`nt getting here,he has however got a better track record than moggadon and is`nt as miserable as our tony either, not an appointment to get excited about but far from the worst
  10. lol,if anybody is watching the game, everyone is basically kicking lumps out of each other, evans is dawdling around the centre circle doing a lot of pointing but not much else, absolute stealer of a living that bloke
  11. he did come across as completely indifferent a lot of the time, judging by some of the performances over the last five years,it came across in the players as well, barring a good few months this season, the whole 4 years in the championship has been underwhelming, the journey was never coming to fruition in my eyes
  12. as long as we win games im`e not bothered about the excitement, would be nice but winning comes first, those wycombe lads love playing for him you can tell, whether he can galvanise better players to the sort of commitment they showed tonight is a risk, but i think it`s a risk worth taking, ainsworth himself comes across as charasmatic and full of enthuisasm,it`s what we need imo
  13. sorry but got to disagree,he had buckley fannying around in the false nine formation for half the year, rothwell was deeper
  14. id`e like to have scott twine here,he`s the only one on the pitch who looks like he can play at a higher level, ainsworth has moulded wycombe into a combative side though, always a good sign for a decent manager, especially as there is unlikely to be much money to spend at wycombe
  15. if he goes to a team with an attack minded manager he`ll do ok,always thought rothwell was a natural just behind the striker type of player,if he goes to scotland(rangers were apparently interested,he`ll score an absolute shedful and probably get a big money move to the premier league),bloody mowbray had him collecting the ball from the centre backs wasting his best attributes
  16. remember when they used to announce the attendance and it was obvious that it was far higher than what was stated, sure bill fox used to fiddle the official number to hoodwink the tax office😃
  17. mowbrays main problem was the massive belief in himself he was a top class manager,it explains the bizarre formations and condescending attitude he had for fans and the press,of course he was`nt a top manager or coach,he was an average one at best and a poor one imo, thats why we never got a consistent run of results going,he was intent on changing things around because of his own ego,he was`nt a good enough communicator or tactician and his players were also not good enough to carry out his various tactical machinations
  18. the right way meaning they pass it around a lot, don`t create anything and then lose the ball in dangerous areas😛
  19. dear me,sunday morning stuff from everton
  20. if you can`t cope with his imminent departure, the samaritans are always there to help,im`e off for a few beers to celebrate😁
  21. when you`ve been second in january,it`s a ****** bad show to finish outside the play offs in may,not very good at all imo
  22. their owners are worse than ours🙂,bowyer has done a sterling job steering them to safety
