  1. difficult for wingers playing in this rovers side, everything is square or back, there is **** all to run on to or overlap
  2. is brereton still on the pitch??
  3. tony won`t stop the gally experiment,we could have ronaldo out wide and he`d still put sam out there
  4. the completely lost buckley stays on though????????????????
  5. this could be the end of dolans tenure in the first team?
  6. cheer up lads at least we ar`nt losing
  7. of scoring that thunderbolt at wigan?
  8. as much as a lot of fans rate buckley,im`e not one of them,i think he needs a few months in the lower leagues to toughen up,putting him in against a seasoned side like forest is asking to much and i think he`ll fade away to be replaced after an hour
  9. at least tony is sticking to the same formation,i thought today would be one of his tactical mysteries
  10. good additions and we should be able to compete for the play offs, the big question is,can tony resist tinkering week after week,he seems to have a found a system that works with our recent form, please for gods sake don`t change it,we`ve been here before though hav`nt we,tony just can`t help himself?
  11. only if they apologise for the last ten years, bring kean and anderson with them, hog tie the ***** to the goalposts so we can throw disgusting objects at them,i might forgive them
  12. elliot out wide should hopefully see the end of the gallagher experiment, there was never any point in him being there now even less seeing as we have dolan, chapman, elliot and brereton would can fill the spots on the flanks, tony should tell gally to get in the box and make life difficult for the centre backs on set pieces and high balls, jeez he`s big enough,if he can`t do that then there is no place for him
  13. i agree, first thing monday morning at brockall the scissors must come out,cut that stupid ****** bun off!!
  14. eastham, hilton and fisher must be pretty p****d off,not a snowballs chance in hell of them ever playing first team football here, good transfer window but this goalkeeper situation is frankly silly, you don`t need six goalkeepers on the books
  15. mowbray loves a good attitude, pretty sure he`s done his research or elliot would`nt be here
  16. he`s on loan and how do you know about his bad attitude??
  17. most pleasing we`ve got a pretty decent left back and a great bonus we`ve got the lad from liverpool, though can`t think why we`ve got or going to get another goalkeeper, are they paying ben benson piece work!!!,the pressure is on tony now to get a decent run at the play offs,he now has the tools to do it imo
  18. filbert street was an extremely strange ground, remember that row of executive boxes which constituted a stand at one end and the away end on the side where if you near the back you could only see half the pitch!!,still better than the totally bland walkers stadium though (or whatever it`s called now)
  19. my dad said it was a fantastic night,i was to young to go to night matches, especally away ones, promotion, rovers fans everywhere making a right racket, jumping up and down and making one stand nearly collapse!!!
  20. when he first broke into the 1st team he did ok against wigan despite winning nothing in the air, after that he was badly exposed away against sheff wed,it`s plain to see he can`t head a football and is weak in the tackle,in competetive games there is no point masking over the fact,he`ll be exposed badly again,at least wharton has 3 seasons of football against nasty centre forwards in the lower leagues, there will be no pushing him around,he might be exposed against quicker players,we`ll just have to see
  21. wharton is a good header of a ball and strong in the tackle,id`e sooner have him in side over magloire, who frankly can`t head a football and can`t tackle, whether wharton is good enough we`ll never know until he gets a run of games, phil jones was thrown in at the deep and he did`nt turn out to badly for us
  22. i still feel a bit guilty for all the hounding we gave him at the end of mackays reign,he steered us through the 80`s when we were skint and still challenged for promotion a couple of times, while preston, bolton and burnley were languishing in the bottom division
  23. i fear mowbray`s phase of attacking willl come to a shuddering halt this saturday,a shame as id`e be confident of victory sticking to his previous formation,i hope im`e wrong but it`s so mowbray to start shuffling everyone about
  24. if you asked bill if it was raining he`d say no comment?
  25. rick parry definately the type where you need to count your fingers after shaking his hand, the epitome of dodgy accountant
