Wasn't this same topic advertised a couple of weeks back? Hows it getting on? Are people taking notice?

With this subject I have to say that im going to get behind no nay never and brfcc because of a little thing called "innocent until proven guilty". Ive not read anywhere that these lads have actually been filmed or caught fighting with opposing fans. I think that the police should look into the matter alot more because they are wasting the tax payers money by arresting and guiding around innocent football fans. On a couple of occasions I have been surrounded outside a train station and escorted to certain grounds. I have never wanted to engage in violence just go about doing what any other normal 18 year old does. I find this pathetic because it is totally inconvenient to me and totally ruins a day out. The police should be spending this money on doing their homework and not just wasting their time i'm sure many fans have had this problem and thats why i can understand the police just grabbing the lads in question.

How about the Bonfire song that united always sing - "Build a bonfire, build a bonfire, we'll put the Burnley at the top, we'll put the Man U in the middle, and we'll burn the f**king lot!"

Just got tickets for the match and I was wondering wether we will sell out ewood. Ive escaped from the walkersteel for this one to go to the bburn end lower tier inthe quest to find out what an atmosphere sounds like! Its also the night before the old trafford game so i cant wait till that weekend.

With regard to the post about the buses from Chorley there is a bus - the 124 which you can get off at witton park but the problem with this is that it is a 20 minute walk through Mill Hill and on a night like tonight you have to leave 10 minutes early to catch it. This means that you are knackered from running from the ground to the bus stop and theres no time for a post match drink. Is there not a South Lancs supporters group around somewhere?

I totally agree with ossydave on both of his points! When I saw this post a minute ago I was thinking the exact same things!

Not my first choice but im delighted at the appointment. Despite what some people have been saying he has done a great job at Wales when you look at his resources (bellamy and Giggs apart). Also happy because it shows that rovers have some pulling power and he must think that he can turn our current situation around as he has been linked to nearly every vacant position in the last couple of years. Can't be ars3d scrolling through all of this forum so forgive me if I bring up a previous topic but has anybody mentioned a combination of managers like Mike Newell and Bobby Robson. Dont know how Mike Newell did last season but hes on fire at the moment - hes got a team like Luton to the top of league 1 and there still unbeaten. That aint really a bad record in a league with teams like Sheff wed, Barnsley, Huddersfield etc. And who better is there to help him into the premiership than Sir Bobby! I would also like to see Jewell because he has taken wigan from mid table division 2 -top of the championship. Hes also made some pretty good signings in Ellington, Roberts, Bullard, Teale and Filan. I cant believe that someones mentioned colin hendry lets face it hes nowhere near league 1 standard never mind the premiership!

But also they are one of a few teams who we can brag about them not beating us for 25 years. Isn't that good for a bit of banter? and the fact that we don't play them that often just makes it more interesting when we stuff them 5 - 0

I like the burnley rivalry because its not one way. I know some Bolton fans and they dont give a stuff about blackburn they've got their heads in the clouds thinking that they and Man u are the worst enemies! We also never sing songs about bolton unless we're playing them which i think represents how much we care about them.

I reckon that the Burnley banner would be the best idea. What about hanging it over the wall at the front of the walkersteel so that the tv can get a glimpse of it and really cheese off the dingles!

Has anyone on here come up with any anti steve Cotterill songs or are we going to replace Stanleys name with his - "I met Steve Cotterill his money was spent" After thinking about this i reckon its for the best to come up with new songs! Linny8

theres quite a few decent pubs in Preston city centre but most of them would let you in with colours except a place called academy which is a ten minute walk along the high street from the train station. I also remember a place called the garrison which was alright and there was another one near to it but i cant remember what its called. Linny8

I've not been on the web for a couple of weeks cos I've just moved over to Ireland. Before I left there was a good forum on how some supporters off this site were going to arrange a singing area in either the B'burn end or Darwen end. I thought this was a good idea and would have supported it fully just to get myself out of the dead walkersteel. I'm just wondering where's this forum vanished to cos i cant find it anywhere. can someone fill me in with regards to whats happening? Regards, Linny8

That ain't a bad song mate. All we need now is people to get it going. I think we should start it off at away matches because our current bunch of songs are getting a bit boring. Just look at teams like M*n utd they have a new song every week. Oh yeah, can anybody help me out with the words to a song I keep on hearing I think it goes like this - " 1 man went to...... 2 men went to....... 3 men went to......."
