  1. This was one of my problems Quinn - killjoys - having a laugh. You were saying something about a pea?
  2. Don't know about "feeder club" but Man Utd love shedding their has beens out to us - Cole, Yorke, Curtis, Berg The Rangers connection will hopefully be over now that Souness has headed to the north east and maybe he'll take two players in particular with him.
  3. I wasnt at the game Tris so I'm only going off what certain people have been moaning about on the MB. It just seems to me that some people have a problem with the aspects of football I mentioned in my previous post. I agree with what you were saying about the lads who were standing up and dishing out abuse to anybody who objected but I just think that there are quite a few rovers fans who are going over the top with the clothing and banter issue - its a part of football GET OVER IT!
  4. Can't believe that some lads on here are being slated because they like to enjoy what people call a football atmosphere. No matter what club you watch your going to get things like banter between fans, taking the mick out of your local rivals, standing up at moments of anticipation and lads having a couple of drinks. These things are called having a good time in your youth and people are going to have to accept them - no wonder the crowds are dwindling! I like to wear the clothes I feel most comfortable in and if that happens to be Paul and Shark, Stone Island, Aquasacutum then I'm not going to change it for a flat cap because of the vast majority of my fellow fans see me as an embarrasment. Can't wait for city if this is the mentality of my fellow supporters !
  5. Maybe this quote could signal someone who is narrow minded and ignorant whilst also being a fashion guru????
  6. You can pick up the burglar van across the road from your birds in the enclosure of appartments. It's the appartment furthest away from "ya biatch" inside the fence but hidden in the shadows. Just done all the missions on the first island except the bloody Big Smoke motorbiking mission! Can nobody give me any tips on how to do this mission cause im getting bored of robbing, starting gang wars, pimping, going out for drinks with the missus ................... What a game!!!!!!!!!!
  7. I agree with you schevchenko, im flying through the gangster, police and girlfriend missions but its just that fat tw4t "big smoke" with his train mission thats holding me back! Especially after youve been next to the train all around the track and then it conviniently gets away!!!!!"All you had to do was follow the dam train CJ"!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Quality mate! How do you think them up
  9. Just got a copy from tesco and was suprised at how many were on the shelf. Can anyone tell me a decent radio station cause i cant find the one which has guns n roses, stone roses etc........ All im hearing is that someones "gonna pop a cap in my mutha 4kin my ass!" Anyways im going into hibernation for a while.
  10. Can't see it going down to well with some fans but it sounds like a funny song to sing away from home. Anyone up for singing it at City?
  11. It was a bloody disgrace what happened today to those fans being thrown out! I was sat far away in the walkersteel but heard from a mate in the bb end the full story after the match about the boro fans and the signs they were making. What will happen to the lads who were thrown out especially the lad near the steps who challenged the police cause he has my full support. Cant believe the overreaction from those Police and stewards and it made me even more angry! YOU ONLY S**T ON YOUR OWN FANS!
  12. Yep, the attendance for that game was 16,922 and you're probably about right with your estimate for how many Rovers fans were in the west stand that night. I think we took around 6,500 to 7,000 Rovers fans. Considering there was only 17,000 crowd we made up almost half the supporters in that night. Continuing this away following thread, how many did we take to Manure in the league cup semi and Sheff wed semi? Probably about 4000 maybe 5000 to each. I would have thought that for the United game we had about 6k and abut the same at sheff wed - wasn't the ticket and travel inclusive for £10 for that match?
  13. I was in the family stand and was disgusted when a guy a few rows along to me left started shouting during the minutes silence. The people who were booing were doing it at him and not at the silence itself couldnt quite make out what he said but i didnt think much of the people who tried to challenge the bloke during silence. As well as being hungover this morning I also feel dirty for cheering on Gary Nev***e and Bec***m.
  14. Must have been inbetween 6 - 8k because we had that big stand along the side of the ground. Wasn't it also wigans record attendance of about 20k?
  15. £10 to see international football ? I think these prices are billiant!
  16. Great post Billinge end blue! I reckon that one stand like the darwen end should be made into a speccified standing end which can be segregated for both home and away fans. Although I believe it is very unrealistic to think that this will get near being approved of even though I back it 101%. But im desperate so il support anything like this to hear an atmosphere thanks to the morgue that is the walkersteel!
  17. Just out of interest are there any coaches running which allow you to take alcohol or even talk on? I gave up on them last season for the reasons stated and went for the trains but I remember seeing coaches passing us on the motorway with rovers fans on board actually having a good time. Can't remember the name of the coaches but they weren't Fraser Eagle.
  18. No of course not Linny8. It is possible to have utter disdain for someones taste in clothing without feeling one way or the other about the person actually wearing the clothes; just consider dungarees. Casual fasion may appeal to you, it doesn't to me; fair enough, so what? None of the above has anything to do with the 17 in question, it simply reflects a difference in aesthetic sensibilities. If these people have been involved in hooliganism they should be judged on the evidence at hand; if it the evidence against any particular individual is sufficient to merit a banning order then so be it, if not then one ought not to be given. It's not a question of fashion, it's a question of conduct, and to suggest otherwise detracts from the debate. [EDIT] You did realise my original post was somewhat tongue in cheek didn't you? I'll agree with that Morph good post!
  19. If you are getting the train to Piccadilly I would recommend that you go in the pubs around the station as last season in the half an hour walk to the stadium I only noticed one pub which was packed to the rafters with city fans.
  20. So what your saying morph is that if you see someone wearing a stone island jumper you instantly don't like them just because not everyone has your gift of spotting great fashion?
  21. Beg pardon but where did I mention clothing Linny? I was referring to the fact that you have no evidence condeming these lads so therefore i assumed this is how you judge them to be hooligans. Maybe you could correct me and tell me why you believe that these lads have been involved in violence.
  22. Your veiws could be seen as discriminating to people who like to wear a certain type of clothing South Aussie rover. Just because people like to dress up in clothes which they feel decent in means that they are gonna kick the feck out of opposition fans? I think not. This is the only type of evidence that is cropping up on this post and to me that sounds pathetic! Maybe this example is a bit extreme but do you view all muslims as terrorists just because there is a minority who want to destroy the world?
  23. Good point American! Just can't see why everyone else on this post are slating the lads when we haven't seen any concrete evidence of involvement.
