0-3 to Burnley followed by 1-4 to Preston at home is the kind of narrative a manager gets sacked over. I don’t think he’s worth sacking this soon, we’re not in danger of relegation by any stretch and “I’d rather have a lucky general than a good one,” as they say, but losing the fans so concertedly will only end one way.

After somehow getting into second gear and playing marginally more direct, a decent move creates a dangerous crossing opportunity and Morton is a shade away from landing it on a forward’s head. Go up another gear and remain as direct. It’s not f*cking hard, really.

Only players that have looked up for it are Brittain and Trav and they’ve not been able to make much of a difference. im fucking furious here, I’ve not at all been hyperbolic through some of the shitshow performances we’ve sat through this season, but I hope it’s made abundantly clear that the fanbase are angry and that it is directly JDT’s fault. He’s responsible and we’re holding him responsible.

Clinton Mola ahead of Scott “born in Blackburn, actual Blackburn fan” Wharton is an absolute fucking scandal. This is the absolute worst-case scenario for this game and so far JDT has done nothing to mitigate. I’d genuinely fine the back room staff a week’s wages for this.

Cannot believe that while we were winning a penalty shootout after equalising in the 88th minute at a Premier League team, I was sat looking at spreadsheets in a basement four miles away. What a bloody result, though!

He’s living a few thousand peoples’ dreams and can’t really break above a light jog in most cases. Just strikes me as selfish that he won’t sprint to close players down when he’s sent on to do that.

Really hope we learn some lessons from this. Fortunate to get away with it. Three/five in the middle is the only way we can support three at the back. He has to see this, the performances were chalk and cheese either side of the change.

Fairly certain this is what has to happen if a player’s down and looks like they might have been knocked out/have a head injury. I’m not convinced he was knocked out, as he turns his head to watch Dack put it in, but the ref’s doing exactly the right thing there. We want advantage to be played to our benefit but he has a job to do.

Genuinely shocking all round here. A fine waste of an evening for all concerned.
