  1. I think the offence was fairly minor, it's just a shame Dack himself didn't acknowledge it online with a quick message to his fans to show that they and the club are important to him. Unfortunately with how he let it pan out, it does at least appear that his friends either in the team now or at other clubs are his priority. Which personally as a fan isn't the kind of professionalism or competitiveness that I'm looking for. Always liked Dack but I'm inclined to agree with others that he's either dim, a prat or both.
  2. The reality is we aren't set up to get a good manager. We can all see when available they don't end up here, so perhaps we should be directing our frustration further afield (the owners and CEO). In fact I'm certain we should be on a match day basis. If the club was ran correctly the majority of the "good" managers Wilder, Smith, Farke etc would jump at the opportunity to manage Blackburn Rovers. There are too many managers that we have to rule out simply because they are better at their job than our owners are at theirs... and some of those managers are completely average but why would a totally unprofessional by the sounds of it CEO, friend of the current manager, even try to appoint one. Venky's out. Sack the board.
  3. Chris Wilder has gone to Middlesborough which was agreed weeks ago.
  4. Him liking all of Reed's posts doesn't invalidate the issue though. In fact Dack seeing this post as being the same as any other is part of the problem and will have irked some fans even more. It wasn't the same, it was captioning a humiliating night for the club. It should have been left alone and I think if you cared about your club and its fans beyond wages and friendships you would have done. Him "liking" it made that appear not to be the case. Even if it was the tiniest of acts, I can see why people were annoyed.
  5. He will be gone soon as the form is going to get a hell of a lot worse; it's inevitable under him and fan patience seems close to a toxic level of thin. The owner's might want to spend a bit in January too and I doubt they'll want him involved in that.
  6. and what about Elliot Bennett explaining it like he's the oracle and getting it completely wrong. No wonder we've been sh*t for years!
  7. Agree, I've thought about this and it's even more annoying than I first thought. Totally get they are friends. Travis and Gallagher like ALL of Reed's posts too but chose not to like the 7-0 loss against their team - which is sensible if you have respect for your fans. Even if you want to like it you should think twice and hold back, clearly some of your teammates didn't think it was appropriate either. It potentially highlights another issue for me and that is, have the players been made to realise by the manager just how totally unacceptable that night was for the club? I'd hazard a guess off the back of this and say not enough has been said.
  8. It IS reflective of the club though.
  9. Such a shame how far from this level of decision making we are now.
  10. He mentions parachute payments as if the only clubs that we're failing to compete with are your West Broms and Bournemouths, when the reality is we're getting beaten by Blackpool and throwing 2-0 leads away against Luton at home. He isn't capable of having a team of 11 better players beat a team of 11 worse players... on a consistent enough basis, it's simple, that is the problem and we've witnessed it far too often. Mowbray should have been fired well over a year ago and the fact that he's still here is simply a reflection of how dysfunctional the club is.
  11. At what point do we try and force positive change and voice our opinion as supporters in the ground? Time for some "Mowbray and Waggott Out!" or "Taking Us Nowhere" banners. Fan feelings need to be known and journalists are barely willing to touch it. We need a full new setup, starting with a new CEO and manager.
  12. I don't like to criticise someone so young but Clarkson... jesus wept. If he wasn't a Liverpool loanee he wouldn't be making the mens team. Loan players are supposed to be better than what you have / can afford, they're meant to have an impact. What are we doing!!
  13. How can the manager think we were going to win that 0-1? I've never seen a game more obviously going to end 1 or 2 nil to the home side. If we can see it why can't he??? Rovers were all over the place and getting run ragged in midfield. Absolutely shambolic performance with a decent enough subs bench but no plan B. A change of shape was very visibly needed. Terrible manager and more terrible form - similar to the end of last season. How are we still here?? If we'd have won that match 1-0 it would have been completely undeserved. I'd have still been embarrassed by the poor passing, the lack of movement and chances created, and the inability to control any part of that game. How about some honesty from Mowbray, instead of shaping another squad of players that are allowed to underperform? I expected some anger after that display. Message to the owners: Make some changes now, show an interest and get the fans back through the gates.
  14. That match was a sackable offence by all in charge.
  15. Did we not learn anything from Tuesday night Tony? 🤨
  16. It isn't harsh at all and I'm sure they were good for that but they have an opportunity during their day job to get the majority fan feeling across to the management team and that isn't happening time after time. I've seen enough to know some very obvious and uncomfortable questions are avoided.
  17. These wet behind the ear local "journalists" aren't helping. So may questions that could be asked. If they did their job properly they'd be feeling extremely uncomfortable in each press conference. The last thing you need with a management team like this is a bunch of messenger boys.
  18. Hate to say I told you so. My opinions on this club are strong, pessimistic and entirely accurate. It is all too predictable. Today we've spent money for the first time all summer, on a left back. Let that sink in. How does this club put a strategy together for promotion out of this league and execute it? Is it a 15 year plan? The board and manager have to go.
  19. Are we the only club in England that photographs loan players with a pen in their hand? Is that the norm? I feel like the club is trying to imitate the feeling of a permanent signing for our benefit. 😂 Just get some players to actually sign some worthwhile contracts at the club and stop trying to trick the Facebook fanbase into thinking the ink at Ewood does get used 🤣
  20. or the owners and management start running the club properly.
  21. This is working out perfectly to say: "We tried everything we could" - Blackburn Rovers, September 1, 2021
  22. All of this would be fine if we combined it with some shrewd permanent signings in the (300k - 900k range). I doubt any Rovers fans are expecting millions to be spent but just a handful of signings to show that the club is still active and investing in it's own future would be nice... I'm presuming Mowbray didn't expect to be in a job this summer and the transfer activity does have a look of that.
  23. I can bet you he didn't have an injury in those two months.
