  1. Every fucking time! I'd sanction my money too if I knew it wasn't going to get spent.
  2. Gallagher's goals this season albeit with some poor performances have decided a total of 8 points. He also got the opener in the 2-0 home win against Reading so that's 3 more you can add if you like. He's part of the reason why we are 2nd in the league. There have been times where he has contributed well defensively too. Without him and his poor first touch we'd be 8th or 9th right now, sorry if that upsets some people.
  3. Hard to criticise his consistency when he is consistently played out of position.
  4. It's an insulting bid but we have been asking for it.
  5. That is 2 strikers and a CM needed. Get moving.
  6. TIME TO SPEND VENKY'S!
  7. It was crying out for a change or two well before the second goal. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but that's what the manager's there for. Hopefully he's learned that whatever he tried today selection wise, doesn't work.
  8. The officials have been an absolute disgrace tonight and need calling out.
  9. WOAH. What was that? Zeefuik's played more football this season than Costello. He had to play tonight if this is the alternative but as a team our shape is wrong, they are absolutely all over the place, back to being a team of poor individuals tonight. 2 subs at half time please! Davenport on and let Buckley/ Rothwell do what they are good at. Gallagher off!
  10. I personally think his attitude and work rate will really help the team go up (if we do), ability aside. I think he's played and is playing a part in why this team's successful. I'd 100% keep him around... unless prem standard attackers were to come in.
  11. A white box with Totally Wicked written in black would have looked better but oh well! or no box at all and white text with a black outline would have done the job nicely. Clubs don't really have their sponsors in a box anymore so it would have been nice to hear that this was temporary. Not that important but it's spoiled what were 3 lovely kits this year.
  12. Haha stop it. April 1 yet?
  13. I feel like we could be setting the bar a bit higher transfer wise to get promotion. I'm not usually a fan of loans but a prem standard loan is what we need right now to make an immediate impact and improve the starting 11, ideally in CM for me. Time to roll the dice!
  14. I'll take a link please if someone can sort me out. Still can't log in.
  15. Re Nyambe it isn't the end of the world I just hope it's the agent being unreasonable and not us. He could be about to damage his career, in fact he may have done so already. It doesn't always work out as well as it did for Raya, we have seen that many times in the past with far bigger and better players than Nyambe: A talent that could go either way and should be asking for a fairly modest senior wage as it stands.
  16. Get January right and we can go up.
  17. What are you trying to achieve here? There's so little value added by this post. Fans wanted the manager out when performances repeatedly weren't good enough. There's nothing wrong in being frustrated as a paying customer and applying pressure on a manager because you think the results aren't good enough, or that the team is capable of more - which they are now clearly showing. If a club didn't have that they wouldn't be a football club. If anything this also proves their frustration was right but no one needs to be smug. The manager is now performing, move on and stop trying to provoke people on a message board, it's mind numbingly boring. The Pears thing, any fan that has an opinion over the transfer would be stupid to change it over one save. On the surface this deal stinks a bit and performance wise it remains to be seen whether a fee will be justified. The only possible comment you could and should make about him after today, is that the win will be good for his confidence.
  18. Worth noting we paid a significant fee for Pears too which was conveniently undisclosed, at a time when we were spending very little on player recruitment elsewhere. Odd.
  19. Buckley is a player. He makes it look easy, we've got a real prospect on our hands here. I'm tempted to say the same about Wharton.
  20. Was that all under the same manager? He doesn't sound up to it.
  21. No and the offer was deserved but Dack agreed it because it made sense due to his injury. This is the only point I'm making, it shouldn't be taken as false hope that Rovers are attractive to any fit, ambitious talent that have offers elsewhere. Dack had little choice in the end and would have been stupid not to take it, so to use it as a measure that we're moving in the right direction is wrong. The measure will be the answers of players that are fit, in form and can move on but instead choose to sign a new deal... and it remains to be seen whether the club is able to do that.
  22. A player signing a new deal after a cruciate knee injury can't be used as a measure to say the club is doing things right re player retention, it would be absolutely crazy not to sign. Anyone thinking differently I would suggest is not in touch with reality when it comes to their football club. In our case, too many fans.
