  1. If you can't gain a regular starting place in league one against the likes of Corry Evans then what future chance do you really have ?
  2. Why waste his time when they've had opportunities and failed to take them. That checkatrade performance at home to Bury was embarrassing and that's a now a league two outfit that the youngsters couldn't compete against. This is why the likes of Armstrong Payne and Antonnsson are here on loan.
  3. The youngsters have shown that they aint good enough at first team level.
  4. Who did he score against though was this group a group too tough for Joe. On another note how did Jack Evans play ?
  5. Take it Nuttall didn't do much from this hour and a half with no goal.
  6. No problem big dog got to get over the line first. How convenient was it for Nyambe to be out of the team and posters getting it right by saying Bennett would be a better choice, hats off to the posters for seeing it.
  7. You need to tell Sharpe that Tony hasn't won anything yet on the back of his relegation last season. Once we are promoted then he'll receive the plaudits but until that moment arrives....its all to play for.
  8. So are the other two mentioned, help do we have anyone else.
  9. I'd be trying Ashley Young in the centre of midfield can't see how Henderson or Dier give you anything from the centre mid.
  10. How did Rovers manage to miss out on Tarkowski whilst we end up with lower quality players like Ryan Nyambe and Joe Nuttall. ?
  11. On the flip side how many of the Wolves players will never play regular first team football from this post parsons ? I'd say most of them.
  12. Putting it into protective Blackburn had hit next to near rock bottom so to show an improvement is going to sound good problem is can they sustain it and go on from here.
  13. How much of a commitment is there from today's young adults to play football week in week out ? The damming indicement of todays youngsters from what I've experienced is that the playing numbers have dwindled dramatically since the 80's with today's amateur games being bolstered by many a non Brit and over 40's. The coaching numbers you quote would therefore seem appropriate for the number of players actively involved to me.
  14. Those early seventies when the cameras came to Ewood, as a kid you'd run to the corner when the corner was to be taken or run behind the goals for a penalty when the game was an honest innocent sport. happy days ! That hour or so on a Saturday evening followed by a hour or so on a Sunday afternoon where happy days to get your footy fix plus the pre match show on ITV (was it friday evening) when Granada ran a competition amongst goalkeepers for the ones that had gone the most minutes without conceding a goal and Roger Jones was just behind the legendary Italian Dino Zoff for most minutes played without conceding a goal. Dino Zoff then Roger Jones wow ! Great read red rose Rover.
  15. Pick ford wouldn't play in my cricket team if he can't catch a size 5 ball then he's no chance with a cricket ball. He's as bad as Raya for coming for crosses. ? Pick theball out the net fOrd. Another Evertonian dummy pity we have a few at Ewood ?
  16. Is selecting Wilshere a good idea knowing his hatred for Tottenham when you have several Tottenham players in the squad ? Harry Kane for me looks too slow to have an impact at International level impact sub at best for me. Dier for me is like Corry Evans does nothing of note to warrant a place. Stones like Kane is too slow and always has a mistake in him. When I've watched Dell Ali and Rashford play together, Ali always seems to play very difficult balls into Rashford which riles me as they are two very good English players. Hart has to be third choice at best when it comes to keepers if Pick ford is the Everton goalkeeper then No way should this young dummy be playing for England.
  17. Full credit to Ireland this year though let's hope England can finish on a positive note to what's been a rather flat six nations by winning tomorrow. Watched Wales last weekend against Italy, the Welsh can consider themselves unfortunate not to be going into the final game with a chance of winning the tournament. The six nations is such a magnificent tournament roll on next year's.
  18. Was only posting a reply to a tweet that's all chaddy nothing to do with Nyambe on this one. As for practice what did they practice ?........... To do and deliver nothing.
  19. Isn't Samuel only 23 and Nuttall 21, if they cant be arsed, what future do we have with these two.
  20. Five of these guys are Tony Mowbray's signings with one a Loanee but the two upfront are a major concern as they aren't looking too clever.
  21. Like anything new Tony there will always be resistance. You've just got to work through the problems and make a smoother process that becomes the norm with delays kept to a bare minimum. It's an additional tool to the referees armoury if that's the right word and I'm sure they ll be assessed on how competent they are at using VAR. It would only be human to find that current referees are against using this technology.
