What on earth did Graeme Souness see in GMP or Pedersen - this lad is not premiership material at all he cant dribble, pass, defend, has a poor first touch and hides from a challenge more importantly and has no pace to get passed his man - in fact he would struggle to get in the Burnley first team hes that poor. Its not about gibving him time your either good enough or your not and Pedersen offeres nothing to the Blackburn Rovers first team at all. Souness must have been taking backhanders from the agent to sign Pedersen hes such a shocker, and now we must look for our third left sided midfielder in six months.

The real truth to Mattys position at Ewood will be something like.... Matty isnt fit to play first team football in the premiership ever again for the Rovers but the club will try and help him resurect his career and make it back elsewere. Saying Matty is working hard and fully fit, but lacking confidence, is designed for would be suitors and not for us to stew over hoping the old Matty Jansen will return one day to lead the line and rekindle some fantastic days in front of the Blackburn end. The club have been fantastic in supporting Matty Jansen through this difficult period and i think we all will have fond memories of Matty Jansen especially when we gave the Dingles one hell of an hiding at Ewood. All i say is Matty has to make the move now and keep himself in the limelight or in another twelve months nobody might not touch him or he wont be able to command such a high salary again after all .....he brought all of this on himself - SO SAD, SUCH A WASTE OF A UNIQUE TALENT .

Blue blood Jansen has had his chances, in fact plenty of chances, every day in training ....every reserve match...... in fact every loan match ... chances galore two years of them but just because you didnt see or witness every one of those why do you think he should be given another chance. Mattys career is at a defining moment does he take a step down now, which in my opinion he should do, or go another season collecting the dosh - not getting another opportunity and waste what is left of his professional career . The confusing messages interpreted by the fans from the managements comments are caused by the fact that the club must ...protect and promote that individual ....and the club must not damage his Matt Jansens career in the immediate and long term and we the fans must be able to interpret the difference.

Apologies if this has been mentioned before, but the English team that was lining up and is still contemplating a loan deal for Matty was or is Preston North End, but the stumbling block is or was Mattys wages and not Craig Browns departure.

Rovers are embarrasingly weak in the attack department at the moment and are crying out for someone to lead the attack and make a name for themselves. This moment in time presents an ideal opportunity for one of the youth players to come in and make a name for themselves but only.... if they have the ability. Bothroyd has ability but lacks that key ingredient application, if some of the post we are led to believe are correct. So the answer to have we got a stronger squad has to assessed by our position in the league versus our realistic view of can we win most premier league games we play in judging the strength of the opposition against ours - the answer has to be an emphatic NO !

Picking Jansen or Dickov as first choice strikers whilst they tread water in the premiership does not entice anyone to buy a season ticket let alone a match ticket. Gally at best is only...... a twenty minute man, best coming on as a sub. Stead might not make the same impact as last season but if he puts the effort in the fans will adore him for that. Souness has to bring in some much needed quality ....and not scousers.
