  1. Singing songs in adulation about one our players taking a dive, wont in any way, help our cause for future penalty claims.
  2. JAL

Abbey its using reverse psychology choosing words carefully that imprinty on the supporters mind giving off a sense of hopelessness that anger soon fills up inside the fans that they then take their own action on the matter.

  3. They probably are, its most likely Venky's are worried about getting it wrong with a successor that is causing the delay.
  4. You should have picked the premier lodge on Oakenhurt farm opposite side of the motorway to the travelodge, as this has a bar, unlike the travelodge.
  5. Yes! yet nobody seems to have said that he played well or did anything special. In fact the picture of the team celebrating, I cant make him out in the photo. No the left wand remark was about the barca kid Rochina not Formica alexanders.
  6. The really good players make it look so easy, and so simple. That goal looks almost effortless in his precision and execution of the strike through the ball, head focused on the ball as he strikes it. The second goal is equally clever as he deliberately lofts the ball upwards into the roof of the net as the keeper makes his dive = quality ! Jason Roberts did twitter months ago that this lad has a left wand for his left foot, and now we can clearly see why. Looking forward to seeing him play, exciting stuff if he can reproduce these kind of goals for Rovers.
  7. Missed him getting caught in possession last night, but his first two touches showed he had the skill that was on a par with any of Man City's millionaires which has to be a positive. Would have thought that last night and the week before are big learning curves for the lad that if he raises his awareness levels he'll settle down and become a very good player for Rovers in the weeks, months, and years to come. Would have thought that last nights management lesson would be to get get him further up the field in the opponents final third were if he loses possesion in this area, the team would be set up to cover him and not get caught out like they did last night and at Everton. It will take time but overall far more positives than negatives on this lad most definitely for now.
  8. I'd buy Mame Diouf aswell Hughesy if we had the money to do so.
  9. The reaction of the weak gooner caused Nzonzi the red card .
  10. Told that the Blackburn combination games all held a minutes silence for Ronnie. Bumped into Ronnie about two years ago in the JJB gym at Shad/Guide and what a nice bloke, asked him what went wrong in the 1960 final to which he replied, Dereck Dougan, because he'd declared himself fit when during the game it became very evident that he was'nt anywhere near fit enough and that Rovers were actually playing with only ten fit men. Then Dave Whelan broke his leg which just made the task of winning the final even harder than ever before. Rest in peace Ronnie
  11. If Rovers ever redevelop the Riverside stand they should develop the new stand themed on that old picture.
  12. Theres no shock whatsoever in it if, the vastly overrated, overpriced, Masherano played for Barca.
  13. Theres still a strong rumour that the fans were larking around in the concourse half time and somebody threw a bin into the air then a poor unfortunate sole decided to head it. We wait to see the outcome. If theres a god he'll come through, just!
  14. First attempts should be to buy tickets in the Jack Walker stand, lower tier, Blackburn End side, as close as is possible to the home dugout and as far back as is possible.
  15. Give up longsider, you're struggling to understand the strength of Blackburn Rovers. Just watch and learn!
  16. I'd like to thank Benni for having the priviledge of being able to watch him playing in the famous blue and white shirt. A big thank you must also go to Mark Hughes and everyone at the club for bringing him to the club. We shouldnt be so sour to what was a sad ending but arent they all ? Good luck Benni and thanks for the memories.
  17. Surely, we can only feel good once Rovers bring in a better forward to replace Benni, surely, only then can we rejoice!
  18. Do you not think he was fully committed during the last home game against Fulham ? For me he was our man of the match and the ONLY inspiration behind the two defenders scoring the goals.
  19. The deal quoted in one of the papers this morning for Hammers to sign Benni is only at £1.2m. It looks like the fanny hammers are in a win win situation here.
  20. The seeds were probabaly sown in the summer when the manager told him he would sell him with a week to go of the summer transfer window left. Hes probably been waiting all this time until now to leave.
  21. The issue is, I dont think there was ever any intention to utilise and keep Benni Macarthy so for me we should'nt hammer Beeni for going. When I hear names such as James Beattie I shudder in disbelief at the direction in which the club that I support is heading. Just trying to put the other side across, as Benni cant put his side across. This for me is all one way, which is totally unfair and stacked completly against Benni MaCarthy.
  22. Reel him in chaps Go swimming up river Ranulf and you'll get caught, high IQ or not. Thank you for making my day !
  23. But when your manager comes up to you in the summer, and says hes going to sell you. This for me would not endear me to play or try harder in the least, in fact i'd just be waiting for the first opportunity to get out which Benni has done. There should be some empathy shown towards Benni MaCarthy here rather than just slagging him off.
