Can’t fault his effort last night - he attacked that cross like his life depended on it. Pure physicality - size, strength and determination left the Owl defender in tatters. But yeah can’t deny that generally he is a bit of a donkey sometimes. That offside when we were on the break was shocking. And I can’t forgive that miss against Stoke. On the flip side, he has made a couple of good assists and gets in some good positions. I think he’s an upgrade on Gallagher still - if not on ability, then purely based on him not being perpetually injured. Got to love him regardless of ability. Man’s a total joker 🤣

I’ve not much confidence for this one. Midweek away, due an upset, and a tough place to visit. I said that for Boro, Leeds and Hull though… so who knows! I’ve been sleuthing on the Owl’s Talk forum, and general consensus is that they’re not overly confident. They’re playing poorly but still picking up points. Some Owls are treating it as a 6 pointer if they’re wanting a play off spot - which is a bold assumption we’ll be up there 🤣 It’s a shame Bannan is back, as that guy seems to orchestrate their game. Bookies have them as favourites - but we have defied the odds 3 (maybe 4) times on the bounce now. Bookies thinking that it could go either way (screenshot is OddsChecker), and I’m inclined to agree with that. Hopefully we turn up, settle in and get the first goal. This fixture has disappointment written all over it. Hopefully Eustace has erased that mentality and we can go out there and pick up a nice 3pts to keep the momentum going.
