He deserves some criticism for his dip in form, but some of it is over the top. I have seen him pull off some fantastic saves in past matches and he was part of the squad that finished 7th.. my biggest criticism of him in the past was he never seemed to kick the ball up field to clear danger, he would have you biting your fingernails dribbling the ball inside the box and tapping it to a defender a yard away from him. -

Why not sit in the burnley end, if you've no faith in your own team. Roses are red! violets are blue! burnley 0 rovers 2. -
Two defensive errors lost it for Rovers last night, the first a slip from Hyam allowed Blackpool to level. The second was Rovers from last season, 3 defenders backed off and stood about like statues while Blackpool waltzed into the box and took the lead. We can't be to harsh, the conditions were attrocious last night for 90 minutes and we made 7 changes.Another thing the referee got 1 out of 10 from me, he made some terrible decisions. A plus was Gestede on the scoresheet again, do is confidence a world of good.

Last season was depressing, you did'nt know were the goals were coming from if Sammie Szchmodics had an off day. I am beginning to look forward to games from what i've seen at Ewood so far this season. We actually fight back if we go behind and have a strikeforce that can find the net. Early days but a lot more promising.

I agree with John Eustace, cup ties are not our top priority this season. We did well in both cups last season and look what happened, players were burnt out in the last couple of months of the season, and we almost paid the price with relegation. I am not saying let other teams win, but realisticly can you see us getting past the likes of Man City; Man United; Liverpool etc. We have a flimsy squad and we don't want to many injuries.

I don't think we've seen the best of Siggy, he got some stick last season when he was getting over an injury. Like you said fantastic finish had the Blackburn end buzzing. -

The frustrating part of Tyrys Dolans game, is he dithers and tries to go round to many players, when he should be getting more shots on target. He would be a far better player. -

We were sluggish in the first half hour, Oxford looked the most likely team to score, it took there opener which was goal of the month to wake us up and Joe Rankin Costello put us level just before the break. We woke up in the 2nd half and started looking for the winner, a nice finish from Arnie Siggurdsen gave us the 3pts. This team unlike last season dont put up the white flag when they go behind, which is promising signs for Rovers supporters. One critisism is we don't get the ball in the box enough, when thers 2 6ft plus strikers waiting to get on the end of a cross. A decent winger would improve things before the window closes. Ohashi deserved the man of the match award. -

Travis when he's 100% fit and on form is a useful asset to Blackburn Rovers. -

All these negative comments, were not Brazil at the moment were trying to improve on last seasons disasterous slide down the table. We need to improve on last weeks game at Norwich, we were poor in midfield giving the ball away far to cheaply and failing to close down players which led to Norwich scoring their second goal. After saying that i have confidence in our strikeforce Gestede, Ohashi and Weiman. Lets hope we get our act together tomorrow and keep our 100% home record. Early days but there's signs we are improving. -

I was talking to a Bolton fan who said Oxford played well in the play off final last season, let's not take them lightly. If we can win this one it's a perfect home record to the start of the season. We need to get it right in midfield, keep possesion and dont give the ball away to cheaply.
