  1. Have any of these three got promotion on their CV.With the talented youngsters we have got at Ewood, we could do with the next manager getting us promotion in the next few years before they move on.
  2. I would go for Carrick , great player under fergie at old trafford. We could give him a short term contact, if he turns out to be another Gerrard we could extend it to long term.If he manages like he played we could be back in the promised land.
  3. You can't blame BBD, if he stays for another 12 months we might get nothing for him. He will be in the free transfer category. He is hot property at the moment and you can't blame players wanting to play in the top flight while there still in their prime.
  4. I hear we have arranged a friendly against Hartlepool in the Summer. With no disrespect to Hartlepool it's not much of a test for Blackburn Rovers. We need to be playing Premier league clubs to put us to the maximum test. If we lose, we can examine our weaknesses and strengths and put things right before next season. Rumour has it we might be playing Celtic in a friendly, thats the kind of test we need in friendlies.
  5. Dilan Markanday said the 20 minutes in the first team against Birmingham helped him a lot mentally after being injured for over 3 months, and is looking forward to next season.I think it's another master stroke from Tony Mowbray, i reckon he will be up there with Dack and BBD. Lets give Tony credit were it due we were quick to put the blame on him when things went wrong.I am looking forward to next season with the talent still on show, specially Buckley who has come of age football wise.I think Brown had a nervous but decent debut and can only get better.
  6. Same here, i voted Wayne Rooney for the fantastic job he did at Derby with a 21pts deduction. Then i looked further down the list and saw Michael Carrick, he's got loads of premier league experience after playing for Man United.
  7. Good choice, didn't know he was into management.Been in the game for some time, you could be right another Gerrard ore Lampard.
  8. We need a manager thats geuinely going to get us promoted,It's the only way we will hang on to the talent from the academy eg Buckley and strikers like BBD.You can't blame them wanting to improve there game in the top flight.
  9. As Wigan proved in the challenge cup, one player ran the all of the pitch for a try.
  10. I think all Rovers supporters are disappointed with the second half of the season.I think we have the talent for the new Manager whoever it may be to give it another go next season. Something for the Rovers faithful to smile about, Two goals of the season to end on a high.
  11. Thought he had a good game Brown needs 1 ore 2 more first team appearances to show his true potential.
  12. He's turning into a star this season, I said a long time ago this season he needs to let rip now and again and go for goal, he's a powerful shot on him. The commentator said it should have been goal of the season.BBDs was perfectly curled into the top corner, pity they can't be more consistent and do it more often. I feel confident for next season with the talent we have got in the first team and up and coming talent in the under 23s.
  13. I hear there may be hope in Lenihan and Nyambe staying at Ewood.Nyambes got his critics on this page, but Rovers are more solid in defence with Nyambe playing.
  14. Just what I was thinking, might get more asians attending matches, it also shows good community spirit.
  15. Somebody quoted do players get to play were they want under Mowbray.I would play behind the bar in the beer tent, if Mr Mowbray doesn't mind.
  16. Wasn't Ayala part of the team that went on that fantastic run 1st half of the season, until he was injured.
  17. I don't think we have seen the best of him yet, hasn't had that much 1st team action.
  18. A step up from non league to Championship.I would go for Haaland ore Sala.
  19. Birmingham 0 Rovers 3 Rovers might be up for this one after the disappointment of last Saturday.
  20. To be a big club it helps to have a big crowd that are loyal.Unfortunately this is not the case at Ewood.I don't mean the 11,000 + that turn up through all the ups and downs.
  21. Were seeing Markanday at some stage Saturday, lets hope Mowbray sees sense and plays Vale as well. These players are the future for Blackburn Rovers.
  22. After seeing all the predictions fall flat on there face on this page, my lips are sealed.
  23. Tony Mowbray reckons Markanday will get game time against Birmingham on Saturday.
