I hear we have arranged a friendly against Hartlepool in the Summer. With no disrespect to Hartlepool it's not much of a test for Blackburn Rovers. We need to be playing Premier league clubs to put us to the maximum test. If we lose, we can examine our weaknesses and strengths and put things right before next season. Rumour has it we might be playing Celtic in a friendly, thats the kind of test we need in friendlies.

PLAYER WATCH v Birmingham City (A)

Dilan Markanday said the 20 minutes in the first team against Birmingham helped him a lot mentally after being injured for over 3 months, and is looking forward to next season.I think it's another master stroke from Tony Mowbray, i reckon he will be up there with Dack and BBD. Lets give Tony credit were it due we were quick to put the blame on him when things went wrong.I am looking forward to next season with the talent still on show, specially Buckley who has come of age football wise.I think Brown had a nervous but decent debut and can only get better. -

As Wigan proved in the challenge cup, one player ran the all of the pitch for a try. -

I think all Rovers supporters are disappointed with the second half of the season.I think we have the talent for the new Manager whoever it may be to give it another go next season. Something for the Rovers faithful to smile about, Two goals of the season to end on a high. -

He's turning into a star this season, I said a long time ago this season he needs to let rip now and again and go for goal, he's a powerful shot on him. The commentator said it should have been goal of the season.BBDs was perfectly curled into the top corner, pity they can't be more consistent and do it more often. I feel confident for next season with the talent we have got in the first team and up and coming talent in the under 23s. -

I hear there may be hope in Lenihan and Nyambe staying at Ewood.Nyambes got his critics on this page, but Rovers are more solid in defence with Nyambe playing. -

To be a big club it helps to have a big crowd that are loyal.Unfortunately this is not the case at Ewood.I don't mean the 11,000 + that turn up through all the ups and downs. -
