  1. The 2022-2023 season starts early this year because of the World Cup July 30th. I reckon the new manager will be in place mid June at the latest.
  2. Burnley also got relegated, not the way to do it. I say leave it to the experts to get the right man for Blackburn Rovers, even if it takes time.
  3. There's some talented youngsters at Ewood at the moment. The last game of the season against Birmingham City saw two goals of the season for rovers Buckley from nearly 40 yards out then Diaz a beauty curled in the top corner. With a new manager in place and 1 or 2 of his own signings i will be disappointed if we dont make the play offs at least. Hope you can make it over for a game, probably a bit costly from Aussie to Ewood.
  4. Whoever gets the job at Ewood, lets all get behind him and give him a chance. With our talented youngsters and a couple of his own signings I will be disappointed if we dont make the top 6.
  5. My mate was convinced he so aliens over ewood, he woke up in Greenbank for drunk and incapable.
  6. My mate was convinced he saw Alex Ferguson in the dug out at Ewood, till he sobered up. On a serious note he did well at Newcastle pipped at the post by United in their prime.
  7. The Lancashire Times says interviews from the shortlist will be held this week. Lets hope so then we can move onwards and upwards.
  8. Some supporters from other teams thought Blackburn Rovers were throwing games to drop out the top 6.
  9. I don't know about player of the season, they should have another vote on goal of the season. Mine would be 1st Buckley 2nd Diaz 3rd Khadra.
  10. We have some talented youngsters who are beginning to mature for the next manager in line. I was disappointed like the rest of the Blackburn Rovers supporters when we didn,t go up last season. We all started to believe when we went on that fantastic run before Christmas and reached the dizzy heights of 2nd.
  11. Carvalhal or Carrick will suit me, the sooner the better then we can move on and have another go for the top 6 next season.
  12. Whoever takes over, he's some talented youngsters at his disposal. With a few signings of his own, we should be pushing for a top 6 finish again.
  13. Have any of these three got promotion on their CV.With the talented youngsters we have got at Ewood, we could do with the next manager getting us promotion in the next few years before they move on.
  14. I would go for Carrick , great player under fergie at old trafford. We could give him a short term contact, if he turns out to be another Gerrard we could extend it to long term.If he manages like he played we could be back in the promised land.
  15. You can't blame BBD, if he stays for another 12 months we might get nothing for him. He will be in the free transfer category. He is hot property at the moment and you can't blame players wanting to play in the top flight while there still in their prime.
  16. I hear we have arranged a friendly against Hartlepool in the Summer. With no disrespect to Hartlepool it's not much of a test for Blackburn Rovers. We need to be playing Premier league clubs to put us to the maximum test. If we lose, we can examine our weaknesses and strengths and put things right before next season. Rumour has it we might be playing Celtic in a friendly, thats the kind of test we need in friendlies.
  17. Dilan Markanday said the 20 minutes in the first team against Birmingham helped him a lot mentally after being injured for over 3 months, and is looking forward to next season.I think it's another master stroke from Tony Mowbray, i reckon he will be up there with Dack and BBD. Lets give Tony credit were it due we were quick to put the blame on him when things went wrong.I am looking forward to next season with the talent still on show, specially Buckley who has come of age football wise.I think Brown had a nervous but decent debut and can only get better.
  18. Same here, i voted Wayne Rooney for the fantastic job he did at Derby with a 21pts deduction. Then i looked further down the list and saw Michael Carrick, he's got loads of premier league experience after playing for Man United.
  19. Good choice, didn't know he was into management.Been in the game for some time, you could be right another Gerrard ore Lampard.
