Latest season ticket sales for local clubs : Wigan 3600 early bird finishes 31st May £329 to £349 Bolton almost 15,000, Early bird finished ages ago and they were on 14.326 ) £219 to £309 then £299 to £399 Preston 6,200 early bird finishes 5th June £280 to £380 We will have an idea tomorrow what we are on, I am guessing circa 8.000 £379 cheapest So i think price does matter, about 80% of Bolton sales have been between the £269 to £289 mark , and 80% of Preston sales have been between £280 and £300.. That is the ideal price, Are you listening Mister Swagott

Timescales wouldn't allow for anything too dynamic ? They only had a year from last seasons feedback and the pathetic sales. Next season there is no excuse, With all the extra TV money from the new deal they can afford to make season tickets cheaper, but the extra money will probably go straight to the players pockets unfortunately. As it will at most clubs.

Don't think Preston or Bolton sold that many season tickets last season, Bolton sold 12.070 according to facebook https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bwfc.co.uk%2Fnews%2F2022%2Fapril%2Fearly-bird-season-tickets-thank-you-so-much%2F%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR2RLY5y9drCnXnWGRiVh4M8_kZ5Z-yzfkfiyIBaXSJ9D2n-bwlx3T8aq_c&h=AT29cGNtbI3NL34m8Sqd9NPXWpcK8WEXacewLQ06PflLUCVuER8YWoydHOR_Q3zy3rUmeyQlU-gJMjq-8RIxIlyGcO1wE1j0DAILiP7hrd3whrUX1XLK-wDZt0Dzu0wUyw&__tn__=H-R&c[0]=AT1LuV0x-PZsJOxxnmEx7Gyiec6P-9X_BzfaGP4SXaxG_aEndszpjLZysHBdR8s27WjyLS7DMQECg4zqsM2_ZHI30_RDXuh93bM7sJXwnhd1F3fk6TZcBe29WfhrXfzOIwEYBdDrh_eq7csxESbOR-ii81d5VtEgMChaaXgVJ3lsQ5ooeso

Championship - 22-23

Yes, just had a look at the pricing, goes from £219 to the most expensive of £309 to a new applicant in the top tiers. still £70 less than our cheapest ! Fantastic . astute pricing. The £20 reduction won't make a dent really if you want to attract significantly more. -

Bolton have made an extra 1600 tickets available to home fans in the normal away end today. They have already sold 12.000 season tickets for next season and are averaging 18.500 in League 1 and playing good football apparently. I would swap places. -
Well not saying much but we had more home fans than both Blackpool (10,000) and Wigan (11000) last week, We had around 13000 when you take away fans out of the equation. I don't think Preston today will get that much more but Burnley fans are saying they have nearly sold out.

He said a while ago the club had pitched for £4 million in season ticket sales in the past , now he says £2.25 million is above the budgeted target. Also why does he keep saying these are just sales only and do not include complimentary tickets.. Did they previously include comps and do other clubs ?
-
Sounds to me it is £5 off the four Category A games, you still have to pay £25 for B fixtures. And you wouldn't get a category C ticket for £15. Still match day tickets are lower over all even if we did have some strange prices last year. was it £18.62 for one match and £10 against Bournemouth
-
Our average attendance last season was 13.478 (some sites have it at over 14000 but they include the bogus 30000 plus crowd the club "accidently" announced) Think with the 4 derbies and Sunderland we will average more this season but only through the away followings being more, unless we do really well and ticket prices are reasonable.

You have hit the nail on the head, Some people have said it is not due to price that they haven't renewed but for some people it is. Bolton in their early bird had 3000 seats available at £219/£229 in their North stand lower and those seats are still only £299 now. They also dropped their prices around the board by 25% this season. specifically because of the cost of living crisis. We have no option of a cheap season ticket at all. This hasn't always been the case, I remember being able to get a season ticket around 2015 for £249 and only 3 years ago it was £319 for the cheapest season ticket. You should always give people the option of a low season ticket price even if it is in what is considered the worst view/stand. btw Hartlepool's cheapest season ticket is £380 for division 4 football !

Most clubs have a few thousand seats in the non popular stand at eye catching cheap rates so they can say" Season tickets from*. The Riverside should be £329. At least it still gives people struggling a chance/option to buy one. £399 cheapest seat makes maybes no chances,

Bolton's early bird season tickets are perfectly priced with the current squeeze on finances , £219 for the cheapest seats behind the net and up to £299 for the top tiers. We should follow their lead and price around the same, or slightly higher as we are playing at a higher level.
