  1. pretty sure he can't walk out before the end of his scholarship. Don't be bitchy though if that isn't true, like you were about the FFP info I pretty much correctly posted yesterday. 👍 Or just google it yourself...it's pretty easy to find the info👍
  2. It seems whilst still on a scholarship both clubs have to agree a fee for the player if player decides to move. Once the scholarship ends (and because Rovers have offered a pro contract) it will again be up to the 2 clubs to agree on the compensation. If they can't agree it then goes to a tribunal. The Harvey Elliot move from Fulham to L'pool is discussed in this article Determining the level of compensation for out of contract football players - LawInSport.
  3. So we can sell him but he can sit tight until the end of his scholarship which is June 2023. Then we would only get compo...so that ties in with what you've been told.
  4. He's a had a bit of a 'mare there. Bowler is basically Markanday. Brittain is an attacking full back. Nixon seems to think it's a WB system but everything points to a 4-2-3-1. Bowler could play in any of the '3' positions. We could have signed him on a free from Everton last summer. No idea how he ended up at Blackpool. He once cost £5m or thereabouts.
  5. My pronoun is 'Super' 😉 And no apologies needed sir/madam. Maybe I should apologise. I've been reading your name as 'Backend Rover'
  6. No. You responded to me saying Nixon got Brittain right by saying 'yeah but he got Brannagan wrong'. Hence why I said 'And?' as it was irrelevant to the point I made. All I ever said was Nixon gets more Rovers stuff right than anyone else (at least in this window so far). I also agree he doesn't get everything right. The two aren't mutually exclusive. Fuck, this is hard work 😃
  7. None of that negates the fact he gets more right than anyone else. Like Brittain.
  8. He's the only one who got Brittain right at the time it was happening. He gets a lot wrong too but it's clear he has contacts. Even Glen said Waggottt was pissed off about how much Nixon knows.
  9. Good post. If 1 person paid £2.5m for a season ticket and nobody else turned up he'd be happy. He's just wrong for our club. Simple as that.
  10. Haha, we've all done bad googling! I think in fairness Blackburns is twice the pop of Lancaster. I think the best comparison to shut up the population twonks is Preston. A bit bigger than Blackburn but nearly twice the amount of ST's sold. Bradford is a bad example, but that's the LT comment pages for you!
  11. Probably because he gets more right than anyone else when it comes to Rovers.
  12. claims he's an agent...looks a bit sketchy...he retweeted the Lancs Live article on this story last week
  13. Haha, sounds like he made quite the impact! Is he George Weah's cousin?
