Also got to say Dack is putting in so many hard yards off the ball. Was leading the press and telling Dolan to press when he wasn’t.

Watched him in an u23 game back in Jan and he stood out then. Didn’t realise he’d make the step up so well so quick tho

Just got back, brilliant tonight. Carter and Hyam were brilliant. Looked like they’ve been playing together for a long time. A.Wharton, where do I start? What a talent he is! so calm on the ball, positions himself well and made some brilliant tackles. Get him a long term contract. Thought everyone one else was good. Hedges was good. Vale looked Sharpe and Pickering had a good game. Was getting forward and stop some crosses. Really good response from last couple weeks 👏👏

This happened to me and my friend. We have to call up and they said pick up at Bloomfield tonight

Especially given he was on already on a yellow as well.

Tell you what we could really do with someone as a free kick taker. When we get a free kick in a decent position (like we did 3/4 times yesterday) we’ve got no-one who you’d think has a chance of scoring

And it clearly wasn’t working going forward. Stevie Wonder could see that. So yeah yeah JDT has to deal with what he’s got but he had players he could have put on earlier for me. I think Morton has been good too and don’t understand why he’s not played more. I really like Buckley but he’s not looked right last two guys. Why not rotate and put Dack and Morton in and rest a couple others seeing as we had some many games in a short space of time. Doesn’t make sense to me when we’ve seen what we’ve seen for a game and a half

Yeah but tell me that any of those players have worked today and tell me why it’s not worth having a punt with someone who’s clinical in front of goal and can keep hold of the ball? All very well saying JDT has this and that but no one has done anything to warrant their place in the team today I’m afraid. At 1-0 why not add him? I can understand in the first three games where we are leading but today after the Reading game was so important to get the next goal

Frustrating because I don’t see Dack as being a poor player now. And look how we played today and Wednesday. No press so no idea how Dack isn’t playing. He’s quality on the ball and he’s a natural goal scorer. Doesn’t need pace to be doing a good job. At least he can hold on the the ******* ball

Sir Alex could have him on the wing and I’d be criticising him. I think it’s poor from JDT playing him there. I like the new manager but this is a poor choice Think Gallagher is decent upfront

It just baffles me. I understand he works hard defending but maybe whoever plays the wing needs drilling into them to do that. It just doesn’t work and it makes me so frustrated watching it again

Not slagging Gallagher off, just saying last season proved he can’t play on the wing. Don’t understand how the managers seen the same thing and is doing exactly the same as Mowbray. Gallagher should be upfront or on the bench end of

Can anyone tell me why we are seeing another manager play Gallagher on the wing? Also how the heck is Dack not getting in that team? Nothing outfield beyond Ayala has been a shred of decent last two games and Dacks got 45 mins. It’s a joke. Also our midfield has been non existent, why don’t we give Morton a chance, he’s looked good whenever he’s played. Also why’s Hedges MIA? Think he’s not been amazing but has been better than some of the ‘front 4’ so far

I do too. Not much he can do when he gets the ball just past the halfway line and there’s nobody down his wing.

Wasn’t a good performance but we’ve got a new manager who’s obviously still figuring things out. He’s not gonna come in and snap his fingers and we’re going to win every game. We are top of the league with 3 good performances and 1 really bad one. it’s sport, it happens, some of you have some seriously unrealistic expectations
