Don’t understand why Garret didn’t get a run out. Besides JRC, I’d say Garret is the next player who’ll get stuck in and stand up for his team. Was very good when came on at Stoke last week. Thought he would have been perfect today

Must say as much as I like Moran and Brittain, I haven’t been a fan of them in the positions they played today. Brittain needs to be on the right as he’s not quick enough cutting in and slows everything down. Moran is good at cutting in and is effective on the left. Don’t get it. Shows how shocking the ref was when JDT gets sent off. Calmest man on the planet. How the ref can’t see Hill being held for their 2nd goal. You see Patterson smiling and then celebrate when he’s let go of Hill and they’ve scored. Knew exactly what he was doing. Also when their player on a yellow gets done by Moran and pulls him back. Stone wall second yellow, ref shit his pants

Personally wouldn’t mind seeing Garrett start today and A.Wharton get a rest and be on the bench. Think A.Wharton has been a bit sloppy at times (while also being brilliant at times) think we need to remember his age and also while most of the team had time off, he’s been In The England setup. Thought Garrett looked very sharp when he came on against Stoke too.

Sit near away dugout and saw Dolan come off the bench about 75th minute and go down the tunnel. Was on crutches and had a knee brace on his left knee. Hoping it isn’t really serious, not sure if it was that you’d go back and sit on the bench in that freezing cold if it was.

I think some have been very very good. Don’t think any of us thought we could get a decent replacement for Dack (and I was extremely sceptical) but I think Szmodics has been superb ever since about half way last year. Hyam has been a very good signing too.
