  1. Putting aside needing certain positions, we need without a doubt physicality or athleticism. We've a lot of good footballers technically. With 5 substitutions allowed, teams with physicality (stronger players or players with more stamina) will wear us down.
  2. Huddersfield signing Lasse Sorenson. We should've been on that.
  3. Really? I rate them, clear football knowledge. Id have them as the next England manager!
  4. It's unfair on Saka but could you go old school Christmas tree with Watkins running for Kane and Bellingham and Foden as 10s. Think a lack of fullbacks hinders width however.
  5. Has BRFCs taken on influencer marketing? Don't you need to finish this with #ad
  6. https://youtu.be/rufnWLVQcKg?si=t0fyci-3gVoQZGkR
  7. I've said before in a match thread. If Pears is an average championship keeper then I'd be telling the lads to shoot from distance 2/3 times a game minimum. If we get some more height in the team too then there's always the chance of a corner from a deflection too.
  8. There's a number of pros who talk (what's talking worth) about how fine the margins are between the national league and even league one. Particularly of recent due to the promotion and relegation process of league two you hear a lot of people talk about how there's 'better' players in the conference than league two. All of that to say, football is extremely fine margins and sometimes professionalism beats talent (look at Connor Gallagher, or our own Sam Gallagher)
  9. I joked about the Gurus in previously pages but perhaps we have taken some divine intervention this summer. If we are recruiting a new Head of Heads, we will have more heads than Brahma The way it's going we will need God(s) on our side to stay up next season.
  10. This is La La land stuff but if we did play 3/5 at the back, with Trent on the right as a wing back. Could Wharton play as a wing back on the left? Passing range from fullbacks would be phenomenal and there'd be a bit more defensive cover.
  11. That was under the project phase, were now in the plan phase (Think that's right, lost track)
  12. This is a proper football manager take, so holding my hands up to it before I start it. But I do think when Kane plays like he did tonight (wanting to drop deep, back to goal, arrive late etc) he could do a job in the 10 role with a Toney or Watkins infront. Somewhat troubles the midfield situation as it forces Bellingham deeper though.
  13. Would you enjoy 3 Serbian giants elbowing you in the head for 90 minutes
  14. Christ alive 4 subs to our 0 and we sun Gallagher on because he tries hard. Mo Farah can run 5kms for fun let's stick him on
  15. Trippier naturally comes inside as does Foden, I'd be bringing some pace on for Foden by the 60th
  16. Saka proving pace is doing well down the right, Gordon brings that more than Foden. Wharton because he's from Blackburn, and Trent isn't called Declan Rice
  17. Very exciting high scoring games so far (until the first half at least) What's the over/under on a poor England performance and a 0-0 bore-athon
  18. The agent for the young northern Irish signing is the same guy who represents Dipepa (sp) at Port Vale. Would be leaning on that a bit myself
  19. Is there something funny about putting a man famed for heading the ball who's no doubt got repeated head injuries in charge of our operations?
  20. 'Head of' is such a vague new business term to inflate roles and deflated salaries. At least it's not Sensei or Grandmaster following the Guru shite of previous. Rudi in, Ruddy in - could Van Nistelroy solve our striker crisis? What is Gestedes impressive business history as mentioned in the Instagram, not to discredit him but genuinely curious. Is it better or worse than being involved in Norwich's golden generation and then the best run club in Scandinavia of recent. If so, I wonder if he will work with an even further cut budget.
  21. Get with the times, it's Sensei Waggot now
  22. Guru Nanak, a founding Guru of Sikhism, meditated for 3 days under a tree before his revelation that all this is is God, and all there ever is was God. Guru Owen shall meditate until the end of summer window post court case, before his own revelation - that there is no money to spend and there never was
  23. What's the odds on us being priced out of Ruddy and ending up with Connor Ripley
