  1. Can't see any value in renewing Gally he's dross. None scoring target men are a dime a dozen and I think I'd rather us risk a younger version in Draper from Lincoln than the 15k a week gally is on. Adding hielek and Bielik would add a bit of height and tenacity to a very pleasant technical academy team. Just missing an athletic left back (agree would take Chrisene back), central midfielder (is Barron at Aberdeen any good - the Scottish guys at work talk about him) and another player to score a goal or two (McAtee)
  2. The polish duo of Bielik and Helik would be my realistic scavenge of the teams going down. Drameh/Demebele etc I can see others after. Rathborne out of contract, or Odoffin at Rotherham would be a pick from them if we had to. Purely utility players.
  3. If Gally took his professional footballers brain to any other profession he'd be sacked. If he was a ventriloquist with the equivalent professional brain he'd have the puppets arm up his own arse
  4. We are more Jordi Jones and jack Nolan
  5. I didn't know this but listening to Bead Friedel's podcast with Ben Foster. Talking about how his transfer fee was the payout of an MLS payment Liverpool owed per 100 games (100k EA). Not on gods green earth would we see the same £ per quality per nous with these in charge
  6. Birmingham doing £2 a pint at the ground and have sold out within 2 days. If we were at home we'd be filling the Darwen end
  7. Wasn't Tom Lawrence once of the Derby team with Keogh who were drink driving? If so, he's no chance of coming here. Imagine the trouble when out leased coach has to leave him at an away day to get back for the 7am school run.
  8. If we do stay up next year and knowing this lot we are really in the shit. I don't want RWs, CDMs or CAMs I want ASBOs and battlers. We have a pipeline of lightweight technical players supplemented by the academy but unless is Carter at 6'2 the tallest of the lot?
  9. I was working to Scott being out for half of next year, carter potentially being sold leaving us Riordan and the option to continue McFadz. In which case Isherwood ticks a little of box Wharton and a little of box McFadz
  10. No idea. Only ever seen him at centre back where he's appeared a bit of a shit house stopper in the mould of McFadz but 10 years younger and 2 inch taller. Alternatively Schalke are going bump and Derry Murkin has played left back and centre back for them. English, 6ft, 6 assists. If someone comes in for Pickering he may complement that
  11. Scott replacement - Tom Isherwood. Just been relegated from bundesliga but did well in the promotion campaign last year. 6ft 5 or 6ft 6, left footed, has experience in the English leagues. Out of contract in the summer
  12. Is that the issue? In training we level out into looking like a balanced squad. Some weeks Telalovic gets 5 and some weeks Pears looks a brick wall
  13. My joke answer is Telalovic scored 42 goals in the league for Derby County on my football manager save. In which case if we do go down I may pre emptively get the 500/1 bet on. Back into the real world I can see Gilsenan, Leonard, Markanday and Gent developing well.
  14. The worst bit will be hearing Callum Brittain laugh about this in a bistro bar he ends up owning on an under the cosh podcast in 5 to 7 years time
  15. Adding Buckley into this. Still not sure why tronstad goes off. Buckley isn't up to it and hasn't developed since breaking through the team.
  16. Maybe 7 thousand screaming Yorkshireman behind the confidence keeper isn't a good move
  17. He's filled out the away end in a relegation 6 pointer
  18. 16 year old Michalski is the 3rd keeper
  19. The 20 year olds with 2 games left at the club will graft out a comeback, get behind the team
