Formations don't exist anymore it's all transitions. If we defend we play a 4, on attack they step into 3 and a 3 man midfield with a free role. If it's a month with 30 days in the striker drops deep to form a paradigm shift midfield Games gone!

I still think we need to sack off wingers all together. Without getting too FIFA I'd be playing 4321. Wharton shielded by Travis and Tronstad with Garret coming on for legs. JRC right back, Brittain left back and play the full flank. Travis and A.Nother covering. Szmod and Sigurdson just off Leonard with Moran, Markanday and Telalovic coming on for tired legs We've no Wingers, Markanday Szmod and Moran have all played better centrally and Sigurdson with 2 in 2 can only benefit from being in and around the box

Maybe we can just score more than teams? Not at the game but hope Markanday took it well. Feel there's a good technical player there and he seems to be doing the right things (trying to join us for game time, taking loans even if they didn't work out) so can't knock a trier

Further evidence tonight that keepers in this league can't handle shots from distance. We absolutely need to push players to shoot more often. Also not counting Morans 2nd as a pro for short corners, even despite our lack of height I stil can't see short corners working

Id be tempted to play much narrower and without out and out wingers in the near future. Let JRC and Brittain start and right and left back respectively. Put Travis and Garret/Tronstad alongside Wharton as a 3 with the more industrious covering overlapping fullbacks. Play striker (Ennis/Leonard) with Szmod and Sigurd starting central and drifting wide. We simply don't have the wingers to be competitive and need 3 central midfielders to cover Szmod and Wharton and let them play their game
