Lewis Travis has been here for years. He practically bleeds blue and white. He loves this club. And he wants to leave. Rovers' heart is being pulled out through its arsehole. We are not the club we once were and until we remove these cretins from Ewood we never will be that club again. It's utterly heart-breaking.

Think Mcloughlin is a solid replacement for Batth. Similar players but younger and more mobile. Still think we need one more center back considering Carter’s become injury prone and Wharton only just returning. I hope we bring another on, more likely a loan or a foreign import.

Its the age old question. Who the hell knows. There is potential for something nefarious with the owners but to suggest that extends to some theory of them wanting relegation or to liquidate the club or the fact Ismael has any role in any of it is ludicrous. Crazy fake stories and conspiracy theories help no one.

We've had ups. The ownership of this club is unpredictable. They have thrown money at players, they have been reluctant to spend. They have spoken in person to some managers, given the cold shoulder to others. They have changed their minds constantly on who should hold the power in Ewood. We have no idea what they think.

Or we buy a good right back and both Travis and Tronstad stay for the season. You never know with this club. Its a rollercoaster, baby.

But it’s still an attractive job. A very competitive league with a half decent squad at a historic club. Any manager worth their salt should think they can do a good job. Especially one that has taken a hit on their reputation recently.
