  1. Then yes I’d give him a miss too much of a risk yes I seen val saying he doesnt like loans most don’t but may be necessary particularly if they are starters and not just squad fillers brings us back to the tyjon discussion if val is totally against loans then the youngsters are going to be playing
  2. Would like to see if danns gets through pre season tour with Liverpool injuries with the back can often be re-occurring but def worth looking at if he comes through it ok
  3. Only one way of finding out….Sunderland did it it’s not a given of course I’m sure there’s more examples of it failing than succeeding but last year Sunderland had rigg Bellingham Watson all academy players with little to no senior experience prior to their senior starts for Sunderland until players of that ilk are given an opportunity we won’t know - it doesn’t work for all players I’m merely basing this on the attraction from bigger clubs on tyjon
  4. With regards to Tyjon if we are keeping him we need to give him a chance and see what he is like i get the caution regarding his age but if your good enough your age shouldn’t really matter
  5. Itl be minimum 3 Val is speaking in riddles there himself could be the language barrier
  6. Too high wages and certainly wouldn’t be in the mould of a Val type player
  7. The argument isn’t both ways or any way Iv said Dolan is a solid championship player I just don’t think he’s any more than that or that portrayed by his agent
  8. It’s no more ridiculous us ‘bitching’ about Dolan than it is you saying tronstad isn’t a good player
  9. The Turkish clubs president statement would suggest it. He saying he wants a prem move and he wants 20k ish per week (could well be miscommunication). So taking that a fave value is why I’m saying about their own high opinion
  10. The game is about money I’m speaking merely on his ability and the ability he/agent think of themselves he could get paid more at Derby but it would be a backwards move time will tell like I said I had that gut feeling in 2023 and nothing has changed my mind since
  11. Well for all his failings Gregg was key at contract negotiations and the fact Dolan/rep failed to engage to me at the time spoke volumes good luck to the fella but I still maintain he’s just a solid champ level player
  12. Not considering us in 2023 I think that was the mistake And reading reports there’s other champ teams interested but nothing has come of them so again I’m assuming he’s holding out for bigger could well happen but your saying what’s a couple of weeks….its quite a lot considering season is 1 month away and the fact he isn’t transferring from a club already training and he’s doing his own he’s going to be behind
  13. Can’t get on board with that one lads sorry (my opinion) teams are away or heading away to pre season camps having already had 2/3 weeks under their belts. He’s already behind in that regards for me he’s been badly advised and has took that on board - the Turkish club chairman statement spoke volumes nothing wrong with confidence in your ability but sometimes it can be misplaced
  14. Whether it’s Dolan or his agent it’s much of a muchness as ultimately Dolan has control he can say to his agent ‘no this is what I want I’m happy with this’
  15. I was under the impression it was in the player contract a significantly lowered base salary but padded up with appearance fees to the level of their worth suppose rovers board are likely trying to find a cheaper solution it sounds
  16. It’s irrelevant to his club the fee is still the same itl be negotiated in the players contract so itl be up to him
  17. Of course that could happen same could be said for most strikers before a season starts. I just don’t see your logic behind it considering he scored 9 last year after already playing half a season elsewhere and signs would suggest with a full pre season he could/should get more than that
  18. Fell Val can get the best out of him his best form in a rovers shirt was end of last season and albeit a friendly yesterday he was excellent in the first half
  19. And Iv stated why it’s a fair assumption Ohashi will
  20. Ohashi got 9 last season so not sure why 5 would be associated with him. Nothing is guaranteed of course but given his had a full pre season and not a half a season behind him it’s a fair assumption to make he will get over the 10 goals this season thag said another striker in would be helpful
  21. Because we have to think of the future too if we can get a midfielder in now and with one of or both trav/tronstad not renewing means we’re not chasing our tail (again) next summer
  22. This off season there’s seems to be a lot more transfer failings or delays. Can’t help but think agents are really starting to take control
  23. Still think to cover an injury or just lack of form we would need another striker it could be one of those that it’s not a main priority yet and could b something they look at again in Jan
  24. If it is baradji and we take the chance and he is fit n ready he plays anywhere across the middle can play cm can play off the left and right so would be more useful than most given his versatility
  25. Agree with the above but I think the carter injury and pending exit of Brittain has probably changed that (based on history in the market) hope I’m wrong though bit I can see a cb cm and rw anything beyond that will be a bonus tyjon going to be a part of the first team def need more just note sure we will get it in the summer window
