Waggott has given 1 on the record interview in 2 years. That’s because that’s all he has wanted to give. Take the tin foil hat off, not everything is a conspiracy.

Which just goes to prove what an exceptional job Gareth has done in comparison to his predecessors.

Unfair. He said in the podcast that Waggott had only ever given 1 interview in the last 2 years and that was to the BBC. The criticism of that was implicit. It also doesn’t mean Jackson hasn’t asked for an interview.

To clarify what Jackson has now said on his latest podcast: From talking to players, agents etc, and based on Waggott saying there was no block on funding, Jackson believes Venky’s can send money but aren’t willing to because of the bond situation. He also said this may change depending n the outcome of the court case. It seems a very reasonable assumption to me based on what Jackson is saying, and all the more reason why protests against Venky’s should be ramped up.

Still lots of unanswered questions: Is Rover Insider right that Pasha has told the owners we don’t need any transfer funds? Does August 20th change anything or is it even relevant to funding? Will Venkys find some transfers after that if the court case goes in their favour and they no longer have to post an equivalent bond?

Multiple good opportunities? Utter nonsense. It’s an even game cos the Dutch have packed the midfield. Gareth now about to make subs at just the right time.

lol, it’s not like we’re under immense pressure. It’s just more even now. We completely outclassed them first half. You can’t just shout ‘change the tactics’ every time we have a quiet 10 mins!

We were dominating. The Dutch had to make a change before they got over run. Gareth won the tactical battle in the first half. Foden’s disappeared because they are now marking him. It’s Foden’s job to adapt.

The Dutch have closed down the space that Foden was operating in. Different game now. This game has at least been a tactical lesson for the anti-Gareth mob. I include the useless pundits in that.

It’s a lot easier to do when the opposition allow you to do it. This is a totally different game than the earlier matches. The Dutch are wide open.
