  1. Do you still think this is a dead cert? I think he's enjoying his football here so far
  2. Is parking an issue, is distant access an issue? I mean people travel to away games so why can't we aid that for closer travellers? I dunno what the answers are just want the place bouncing again and full enough to make the club some profit
  3. Said everything I was thinking in a much more concise manner lol I just don't feel like I've seen anything locally or wide-spread that pointing people toward ewood. I know the players do their bits as per contract and there's school involvement (how much of that I'm unsure) but only feels as though if you aren't driving by ewood or set your eyes on a newspaper then there's hardly any c0verage. I'm sure there stuff beyond our knowledge that's happening behind the scenes but doesn't feel evident as you said of the last 20 years or so it's nowhere to be found
  4. Just feel that the local audience could be better targeted however widespread is always going to be beneficial too
  5. From a marketing view, do you think they should be advertising/pushing ticket sales more? Especially with a big Derby day on its way Outside of the Rovers app and the telegraph do I barely see any local advertising for us. If you could do anything to help advertise and bring bums on seats how would you do it?
  6. What a fantastic black n white photo there! Rest in Peace macca Once a Rover, Always a Rover x
  7. I'd like to see higher points rewards
  8. That's where I thought we could possibly have something and it does ring a bell that Riverside catered for disability though nuttall street had the front flat enclosure
  9. Fully agree. I remember watching Rovers v Watford in the 90s as a kid and remember seeing all these people being lined up in a concrete raised area toward the Darwen end Nuttall Street stand even then there was atleast something. Just need that sheltered zone though. Gotta be easy enough Edit: Just been looking at old photos I can't find it for the life of me I must of imagined it
  10. Many people in wheelchairs are independent and opt to sit in open areas mainly because the view is better, some don't mind the rain and accept that, that is part of going to a game for them, they can either stay home or get out and watch the footy so I think alot is through choice, however those unable to voice their opinion or through health reasons are unable to be out in the wind and rain there should be a viewing platform. The Riverside I feel would best be suited to make some form of ammendment for a raised viewing platform, it's close to car parks so straight round the back where it's not as busy, it's would be easier to construct a separate area there than say jack walker stand or blackburn end, and would offer a great view from the corner section (home side)
  11. Anything that keeps fans happy is important no matter how small a detail.
  12. Can't remember that last time I went to a ticket office perhaps pushing online sales would help. Buying though the app is a doddle and takes 2 mins perhaps an online price
  13. Affordability and bums on seats should be a priority right now. Bums on seats push concourse sales, word of mouth from friends relatives and colleagues, brings future fans on-board. Cheaper tickets will always be a plus as you can make up the extra pounds here and there on the concourse and clubshop
  14. Love that this was an important part of the meeting despite other pressing matters
  15. Talk about backing your team! Lol I think we'll come away with a win, draw at the very least. We've got some momentum everyones having good games. I'm going for 2-1 Rovers
  16. One game at a time. Bring on Boro, they'll not be happy about it either consider that. Come on Rovers!
  17. Was also looking forward to one of our easier games for a confidence booster
  18. I'm 10 mins up the road from Ewood. It's lashed it down all lastnight and up to time of writing this. The pitch will is not playable.
  19. As touched upon in other posts, the international break has become somewhat a thorn in the side of some domestic clubs, with 8 withdrawing from duties ahead of England v Greece tomorrow, (cant blame them) I wonder if it imposes any fine for the players or if it's in an international contract (if that's even a thing)
  20. @riggerwell ohashi for a start, hits the target often and can win the ball back and make good runs, just would have him over gueyeheyeyheye
  21. I just worry that Gueye is becoming unreliable and filling a slot that can be used by an effective player. I still dont think hes really found his boots yet we know hes strong and can stay with and hassle players but just need to see more from him to convince me.
  22. Anyway... who's your starting 11
  23. Thankyou for the title edit Herbie 👍 better than my shouty one lol
