  1. Interesting stuff thanks for researching and sharing and for the blinkered deniers still evident in the fanbase it can all be fact checked. The DE have the Vs by the balls on this make no mistake and it's odd they are so pissed off at seemingly a couple of mistakes over a decade ago which imo just goes to show they suspect other things have gone on but can't prove it. One thing though puzzles me though, surely once they sent previous money and satisfied the conditions of proving what it's for and where its gone they'd then get that particular amounts bond money back/guarantees lifted ? So they won't actually be so much out of pocket and free to satisfy the next allotted amounts ?
  2. The Admiral Him and Samba were some pairing, will we ever have a defender of that class and ability again ? Unlikely, shame on you Venkys !
  3. Aye Yuki and Ribero came out of nowhere and have done good but it's the Suhail and Rudy roadshow now so we'll have to see what transpires, if anything.
  4. The first signing will come from left field anyway and be a name not even mentioned - or possibly heard of - highly likely to be from abroad.
  5. That's probably why they'll want as many mins as possible into as many as possible this coming season because we won't have much left the season after. Due to lack of continual steady investment going back to when the transfer door slammed on Mowbray and water treading became the aim we will end up needing serious money spent in all depts, defence/mid/fwds. It's all bound to catch up and come on top at some point it has with every other club that has gone down the same avenue, unless Rudy & Ismael turn out to be miracle workers.
  6. How many times have you read/heard people saying i'm not renewing until they show some ambition or spend some money ? And don't pretend you haven't for the sake of being pedantic that act has worn thin now. If you don't think making decent signings will drive more ticket sales then you are truly lost.
  7. I'm presuming or should i say praying that the request for money for running costs is so the club can use some incoming instalment money to invest in a few players instead of all that going on wages etc. Otherwise we are up the creek signings wise.
  8. So what ? Is there no phase two, did they not intend to sell anymore.
  9. Season tickets sales nothing more nothing less. We have an absolute green novice in charge of the football now overseen by an utter penny pinching owners puppet so they think they are being clever playing the game. Waggot was an old hand a that so it's the same script but different voices and we still have half a small remaining fanbase who can't see through it.
  10. Like i said are Venkys going to request extra money to the court for transfers then pay an extra 50% on top to buy a player because of the bond ? It's a non starter and seeing as you've brought it up transfer fees will not be an essential running cost to an English football club in the eyes of an Indian judge whose dealing with objections to money transfer by his own govts anti fraud and money laundering unit. That is 'investment purposes' not running costs not when they are telling the judge they need money for the academy which produces our players. This is the Indian court system not a European one they'll have very little grasp on anything pro football wise you are being way too generous in your assumptions. Considering every item they want money for has to be proven then when paid receipts provided just so they can get their bond back i doubt transferring money to another football club and players agents fits in. It's not happening, not that they are asking for that anyway.
  11. In the near future i wouldn't be surprised if we are the first club in championship history to field regularly a first 11 entirely made up of academy grads and loanees.
  12. In the event money was requested for signings and allowed by the court are they going to effectively pay 50% more on a player because of the bond/guarantee ? I'd 110% say no they won't so it's a non starter and we hold out hope that they send full funds to cover running costs and any instalment income goes towards signings. Again i'm 90% certain that's not happening either but how else can we sign anybody ?
  13. It's the anti fraud and money laundering unit they don't want money going anywhere but to pay for essential running costs of the English business i would have thought that was obvious by now.
  14. They rarely ever seem to send extra money for transfer that usually has to be generated by the club itself and of course there has been plenty recently but.... Couldn't see the authorities over there ever signing it off anyway 'we have x amount billed for tax, x amount for utility bills, x amount for insurance, oh and we need to give 500k to Peterbro for a deposit on a player...' Doesn't really fit why they are restricting it and asking for receipts in the fist place.
  15. Owners say we'll send half due to bond so you'll have to find the other half.... someone phones Wrexham... πŸ€”
  16. I presume they just took over the remainder of his existing wages but didn't want to commit until he'd proven himself.
  17. Yep for a player in Travs circumstances it would be a great move and although i'd be loathed to lose him now under normal times 3 mill would be a good fee to re-invest a big lump of. Here though it will just evaporate overnight paying wages whilst they slot John Buckley into Travis position and pour money down the drain bringing in a skinny 10/15k a week Prem loan as back up. Most sane fans wouldn't like that but the agents would.
  18. So it's a CAO they need to run a specific department not a CEO to run the whole show.
  19. The request made to India for funding several months ago.
  20. Well we are desperate for 3.9 mill and hey presto Nixon is trying to sell Travis to Wrexham. He's doing the clubs dirty work like always and getting the ball rolling for them and getting Travs name out there.
  21. So as we suspected a CEO in name only to stick front of house, tick a box, gag, then serve up as a sacrifice when the next major cock up arrives.
  22. Indirectly it's all to do with Rovers i.e the funding set up from India to the UK for the (sole) purpose of financing the football club. The VH group is under investigation for specific issues that went array connected to putting money into the UK company that owns the club. Whilst the club itself isn't under investigation its ultimate parent company and financial provider is therefore everything it inter connected one way or another. Lets not go all Steve Waggot and pretend it isn't and personally i'm pretty convinced if the Indian authorities could crawl all over Rovers books and every transaction between VLL and BRFC they would. Not saying they'd find anything other than a few more cock ups but i'm not totally convinced either and i doubt they are but they've obviously nothing to go to date that we know about.
  23. The mere fact they've ended up under investigation by the govt department they have kind of points to the Indian govt not sharing your view. Regardless of if anything else turns up or not they obviously had enough suspicion to kick off in the first place.
