Tidy 5-1 win last night over #3 to cement my spot in #2. And had a virtual sellout (in threatening rain no less) to my new 17K stadium, but also had my best MF get a +@ injury at age 27. the leader of my series played a 6-3-1 CA formation against the worst team in the league, and still won 5-0 without a counterattack (he did have 63% possesion)!!! But at least he didn't get training! Had my 18 y.o. winger trainee pop to excellent.. will sell when he hits formidable I think!

yikes... good thing you didn't see the coverage of the game I was watching. I can think of at least 5 closeups of Nelsen. Who, although a good defender appears to have gotten beat with an ugly stick as a kid....

I'll be glad to see the game at E-wood instead of Turf moor, or is that "more turf please"? I think it will help the squad a lot, at times (granted on TV) the game just looked very slow... I'm thinking due to the pitch. MGP and Sav were most impressive to me.... the entire defence played well, but to my mind should have done better against a solo man up front... at times (beginning of 2nd hal) their wingers were really giving us problems. Still alive in the cup, and that might just be the best thing that can be said about the game...

Well, since, this is an MGP thread, and we've had a cuidado reference, there is something missing..... I can't help being excited that the club management was so adept in their planning. They managerd to avoid the "appearance fee" that Tromso placed on MGP, and still get such cracking results out of the player!!

I'd be in for the cup... I got my first win, even though I had a red card on my best striker, and an injury to a trainee.... I'm just looking to get some training in this season, post a solid 2nd or 3rd spot, which should be easy in my division, and promotion is a goal for next season! With some increased supporter mood, I'll be breaking even on the 2-week cycle after my 9-0 trouncing in the cup 1st week!

I got destroyed in my cup game, 9-0... I had a snowballs chance in hell in that game I then played #4 last year in the league at my home, and lost 2-1... but since he spend oodles of money on his team, and I could only afford to upgrade my stadium... I feel okay... Just got in 3 17 y.o. trainees, all passables, so hopefully I'll be selling off some 19 y.o. solids+ maybe then I can upgrade the midfield!

What formation are they in now then? 5-4-1? 4-5-1 with Mokoena and Reid in the midfield? or has MGP moved up front to keep 2 up front? If Dickov is the lone target man up front, I don't like the message being sent by Hughes sitting on a 1 goal lead to Cardiff at home

Also good to see that the suspensions have calmed down Dickov and Neill apparently rovers favorite colors are yellow and red not blue and white this year...
