should've put in a sell on clause.

So there's a risk he might go in Jan too? It's gonna be a long 5 months
-
I wouldn't even say a Premier League move is best for him at the moment He has only just stepped up the Champ. It destroyed Rhode's career going to Boro..Just saying

Press has played their part in this bid, the Leicester City story came from nothing (not a single good source) and look now this..

Would rip the spleen out of our team. But there you go, happiness Vs Money... whats the outcome?

Depends how much £ we're talking. Money talks remember

Dear WBA, Thank you for your 15 Million bid, but no thank you. #Howembarrassing

Loving it, I mean 9 points in 5 games in a higher division is a good start. It could've been better too, (Ipswich away could've been easily 2-1). In perspective, how long did it take us to get our first win in 'unspeakable' 2016/2017 season? Yeah, I feel uneasy too..almost like it's all too good to be true.

New Games/General Gaming

I was well annoyed at the lack of quality of Mercs 2. Its the first game i've played on the 360 that sent the console back 2 generations its not even ps2 standard, it really is very bad and craftily they release the demo AFTER the game comes out. Smart move developers, good business head on you havent you? Incidenatly i managed to get a FULL refund for this title as really none should be charged for a game that bugged. As long as you know what your talking about it shouldnt be an issue anyone who has bought it? get your money back! -

I was actually gonna start a new thread for that but saw this comment and replied instead. I picked it up yesturday and so far im well hooked. Its pretty gold-skool but it truely is the best game i've played since GtaIV, after the dissapointment that was Too Human and Mercenaries, this is well up my street. Dunno why the reviews are so harsh on it. I was very close to not buying this game due to the terrible reviews but i had £40 game credit for an issue i had with them a while back, so i thought what the heck, nothing to loose. I've found the force grip really easy to use and targeting enemies easy too. Obviously people judged an un-finished demo too early. Basically i think its improved 100% since the demo release. I think the strong parts of the game is definatly the story and the graphics, top-notch and more enjoyable than Episodes I-III ( even though i quite like them). For people saying this is 'Not Next-Gen', well it bloody is and what do you expect? -

Has anyone got Dark Sector or Condemed 2 to give us a quick review? -
I have been desperate to see this myself. I think its going to be a 'straight to video' title. Which is bad really. There was a screening of it in the UK at cinemas but it was extremely limited, so limited it wasnt even shown in Manchester. If anyone has any info on it let me know, like dvd release date etc..

Going to see a band from Seattie on Sunday called Band of Horses who are on Subpop records, on the leg of their 2nd album(which is a blinding album) tour. Sound a little like Pavement or a more upbeat The Shins. They are well worth checking out: Band Of Horses I cant wait...Plus going to see MGMT and Radiohead later in 2008. Looking like a good year for music. -

I'm currently in a void at the moment, i havent got anything decent to read. Just finished 'I Am Legend' By Richard Matheson. Thought this was truely amazing and extremely chilling at parts. Nothing at all like the film except that the Vampires bare the resemblance that they come out at night, and that the protagonist is the last man alive....as expected really. But thats all really you can compare between the film and book. I actually enjoyed both though as post-apocalyptic stuff fascinates me. So whats next? i'll probably try and have a look at Robot by Asimov possibley?! -
Films which i have seen recently have been quite good. I too saw ' P.S I love you' Thought it was great actually, didnt think it was my kind of film but its got a good story and Gerrard Butler is as good as ever, just shows you the wide spectrum his acting covers. American Gangster was excellent, a drawn out film but it doesnt at all feel like it as its riveting. I cant believe no Oscar nominations for this also. Saw 'No Country for old men' also, this is really good and has a great deal of suspense in it, and quite shocking at times. Josh Brolin and Javier Bardem are Phenomenal talents. This is one i have to read the book of now that i've seen the film. Going to see Cloverfield on Friday but im not sure its really one i want to be watching at the cinema ( due to it being a camcorder film ala The Blair Witch) but i cant find anyone with a dvd of it.

I've just picked up Call of Duty 4. Despite not being madly into war shooters, i heard its truely an incredible gaming experience from you guys and reviews...and they werent wrong its amazing. Whats better is i'll be online in the next week or so so i'll be able to play against others. I love it, well addictive. Cant see Kane and Lynch being around much longer in my collection with this beauty. -

I'm currently reading ' On the Road' by Jack Kerouac. Has anyone else read this? I've found it to be really mind-opening and has changed my opinion on alot of things that happen everyday. Recently picked up a book called 'The Dice Man ' by Luke Rinehart. After reading the blurb on the back it sounds pretty good it has the same philosophy of life as ' on the Road' does, where everything in life depends on the role of these dices which the protagonist carries with him. Live for the moment / sponteniety and all that. Oh and by the way as someone mensioned before. I read 'Life of Pi' a couple of summers ago. Have to say i found it really enjoyable and such a good adventure. Heard they were making it into a movie. Really cant imagine or visualize a movie of that, i imagine the script would be rock hard to write for. -

Yeah i rang Game initially but I’ve had the console 13 months (just). And he basically told me my console was dead and Microsoft were the ones to sort it. Wish i could have took it to the shop though would have been easier. But yeah its well frustrating, very helpful though on the phone and the lady promised the console would be no longer than 2 weeks even with Xmas,(im sceptical though). I've heard from people that this has happened more than twice, now that really scares me into thinking 'trade it for a PS3' which i would have never done in a million years.
