Well thats my holiday gaming over for this year. I received a wonderful xmas gift early this year...got the 3 rings of death, my console is barely a year old what a joke. I have arranged with xbox and ups to collect tomorrow so fingers crossed and i might be playing Assasins Creed again before 2008. Has this happened to anyone else on here?

In reply to what i said earlier, i bought Mass Effect on friday as a friend of mine had not stopped going on about it for weeks. It is horrible to say the least, maybe this just isnt my kind of game, but lets put it in perspective. There is a part in it where you have to actually call the lift and wait ages for it (just like in real life) then it takes ages while it stops on each floor. Forgive me for seeming impatient but i have other things to do with my time than this. Plus the actual game physics are really bad. There's blobs of white things which hover around that have no rendering at all and look blocky as hell. There is a number of other problems i found. Luckily i got my money back for this, Game must have felt sorry for me on this occasion as they dont take lightly to refund.

The big question is Mass Effect or Kane and Lynch? I can only afford one really.

I am one of the unlucky ones that doesn’t have xbox live yet so i guess it suits me well, nothing wrong with bringing back the good old days when your mate would have to physically come up and play it with you. Tell you what my bank is gonna be empty in a week or so after all these releases. Anyone fancy Mass Effect? as a sci-fi junkie like myself its a must.

Has anyone seen Kane and Lynch yet? dunno what i think of it yet or whether to get it. The co-op part looks good.

Have to say after reading all this, i am really tempted by this game ( i wasnt previously) sounds like a lot of fun if nothing else. Probably a stupid question but is it all in the middleages times? when you said it flashes forward what do you mean? You have for sure the best job on earth as the rest of us have to wait a whole 2 weeks.

Has anyone seen the new Tarantino film ? ' Deathproof' its part of the Grindhouse double bill. It flopped in the US but i have to say i think its brilliant despite shocking reviews.

This is the best news ever... RATM reforming. Rock music just hasnt had the passion since they departed. I think the music would be more than relevant in this day and age aswell, a band we just need back on the scene. And lets face it Zacks stuff with DJ Shadow and plus Audioslave hasnt lived up to anything also.

So he's going to West ham. Its his decision obviously but i hope he realises he could well be playing in the championship soon if they dont pick up soon. Liverpool would have been the best option (to play in the champions league should have been enough)

I love how on the beeb website spurs are on the front page and we get hardly a mension. I know spurs is a bigger club but isnt it expected of them anyway? and why steal our glory?

Hi Biddy, Try just running upto the player that has the ball, rather than actually making a tackle or pressing X. This seems to work i found as suddenly if you keep close to the player the ball ends up in our possession. Its weird i know but despite it being fifa the controls are so different. I like it though, i like the fact i have to work abit at it rather than just winning everything in my first season like i did on ps2 and the original xbox. Only problem i seem to have is the text size on the main menus. Its pretty small put it that way. I have to say i think the practise mode on the loading screens is pretty good though!

Since starting this thread, i got rid off my xbox and got a 360 with Fifa 07. Must say the graphics are something else, in terms of the gameplay the 360's fifa takes alot more effort to crack, its like totally different game. Cant believe the like-for like realism of some of the players. Has anyone else got this yest on the xbox 360 yet? do you know if there are any other camera angels other than tele, dynamic and end to end?

This would be great for the gates... and not to mension capital. Yes it would cost us alot in wages but lets think about it are we gonna make it back having him playing for us? general public interest would surround rovers... although hopefully not bad publicity

Did anyone hear about people fainting during Saw III on friday night? Apparently there was a record of 3 people simultaneously fainting around the uk during film Saw III.

i knew the bolton goal would come from a set piece, the are incapable of building up a good attack and resulting in a great goal. Just pump it into the box and hope someone gets a head on it.

This is terrible but if it was down to winning this and loosing to Krakow i would take winning on thursday anyday..... thats looking on the positive side. But im bloody annoyed with this to say the least
